skipping school

We get out of the car and walk inside. We get to our lockers and I put my stuff in. 'What are you starting with today?' I ask. 'Math' 'oh same' we walk to our class and sit down. We have 5 min left untill the class starts so i go on my phone. Then someone grabs my phone. 'Hey!' 'Goodmorning' 'mara give my phone back' 'there is a party tonight wanna come?' 'Nope' 'why not?!' 'Because I don't like parties. You know that! Now give me my phone!' 'Nick do you like parties?' Mara asks nick. I look at him. Please say no. She's definitely gonna make me come if he says yes. 'Ofcourse!' Nick says. 'You wanna come?' 'Sounds fun' 'see Olivia you should come to!' 'Still no' 'fine then you won't get your phone'. She sits down infront of me and nick still not giving my phone back. 'Ok then. I will be at the stupid party' 'yes!'. She gives me my phone. 'Where is it?' I ask. 'It's at Calebs house. I will text you the time' 'ok'. The teacher comes in and starts with her class.

'You wanna go to the party together?' Nick wispers. 'Ok' 'should I pick you up?' 'Yes' 'Nick, Olivia you've got something to say to the whole class?' The teacher asks. 'No, we're sorry' 'ok'. She goes on with her class and me and Nick stay still.

By lunch time mara, nick and me sit at a table. 'So Nick, do you have any hot friends?' Mara asks. 'Well I'm new so most of my friends don't live here' 'what about Ryland?' I ask. 'You think Ryland is hot?' 'No, but he seems nice' 'invite him' mara says. 'I will ask if he wants to come'. Then Dylan, one of the most popular guys in school, walks up to us. 'Hey you guys coming to the party tonight?' 'Yes!' Mara says enthusiastic. 'Nice, well I see you there then' he winks at mara and walks away. 'Omgg did Dylan just talk to US?' 'I think he winked at you to' 'omg!'. Mara has had the longest crush on Dylan. He sometimes says hey to her but never really talked to her or to me.

After lunch we get back to our locker. 'Ugghhhh' i groan. 'What's wrong?' Nick asks. 'It's just that the rest of my day really sucks and I don't wanna follow these classes' 'we can skip them' 'i can but you have different classes' 'yes but we can skip school together and just go and have fun. I mean you can show me around town' 'that would be fun. But i don't think skipping school on your second day here is a good idea' 'i don't care we're going'. He grabs my hand and leads me out of the school to his car. He opens the door for me to get in. 'Isn't it smarter if i drive?' 'No, like this we're spending more time driving around. If I don't know the way back then you can drive' 'ok'. I get in the car and he closes the door for me. He walks around the car and gets in on his side. 'Wait we can go bowling!' I say. 'I haven't gone bowling for sooo long' i say. 'Ok then we're going bowling but prepare on losing' nick says. I laugh. He starts the car and drives to the bowling alley.
