𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐍𝐄𝐖 𝐁𝐎𝐘 ~ 𝐍𝐢𝐜𝐤 𝐀𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧

late night skate park.

When I get to the bus stop Lily isn't there yet. I grab my phone and wait for her. A few seconds later I hea her yell my name. I look up from my phone and see her standing on the other sideof the road. She waves me to come over. I look both ways before running towards her.

"Hey" i say. "Hi, you ready for our adventure?" She asks. I nod. "Where are we going by the way?" I ask. "Skate park" she says. "But I don't have a skateboard" "doesn't matter" she smiles before walking of. I walk after her.

A few minutes later we arrive at the skate park. There are a few people skating. 2 guys are on the sid talking to each other. Lily walks towards them. I walk afte her.

"Hi babe" she says kissing one of the guys. That must be her boyfriend. "Babe, this is Olivia. Olivia these are Harry and David" she says. "Hi" i say. "Hey"

Harry turns back to lily. "So you're the new girl right?" David asks me. I nod. "Mhm" "well what do you think about the UK?" "So far it's good" "do you skate?" He says grabbing his skateboard. "Not really" i say. "Try it" he hands me his board. "I'm probably gonna fall" "i'll catch you" he smiles. "Ok"

I place one foot on the board. I push of with the other. So far I'm good. Then there is a turn.

"How do I turn?" I yell a little stressed. "Lift the board!" David says. "How?!" I begin to stress. The wall is coming closer to me and I don't know how to stop or turn. Just before i hit the wall i feel someone lift me off the board. It's David. He's laughing. He puts me on the ground.

"Come on I'm gonna help you" he says grabbing the board. I put my feet back on the board while holding on to Davids arms. He pushes me forward.

"Ok now try to turn" he says. I try to but I can't get the board to turn. "Ughhh I can't do this" i say after a few times of trying. "Come on don't give up so soon" David says.

I try a fe more times and then finally get it to turn. "OH MY GOD!" I yell enthusiastic. Jumping of the board. "You got it!" David high fives me. I run towards Lily and Harrry.

"You saw that?!" I ask happy. "Yes good job" Harry says. "You're so happy" Lily giggles. I snicker. David comes up to us.

"I'm thirsty" Lily groans after a while. "We can get something at the gas station" Harry says. "Yes please" Lily smiles.

Me and Lily walk while David and Harry skate infront of us.

"So you and Harry huh?" I ask. Lily nods. "How long?" "3 months now" "wow. Where do you know him from?" "Me and my brother went to the skate park one day and I got to know David and Harry. They are a few years older then us. They aren't in high school any more" "how old are they?" "19" "oh well he seems nice"

I got to be honest when we arrived a that skate park I didn't like it a all. But David is nice. I don't know about Harry I didn't really get the chance to talk to him.

We arrive at the gas station. We walk inside and grab some stuff. We pay for it and walk back outside. There is this bench infront of the gas station. We sit down.

*time skip*

I grab my phone to see what time it is. It's 11:00.

"I should get home" i say standing up. "I'll walk with you" Lily says standing up. "No you stay I remember the way. Plus it gives me time to call with Nick" I say. "Your boyfriend right?" I nod. "Well don't be naughty" "you to. I'll see you tomorrow" i say walking away.

When I'm at a good distance I grab my phone out of my back pocket and call Nick. He doesn't answer. I shoot him a text just saying hi. I then decide to call Mara since I haven't spoken to her since the day I got here. She answers after 4 rings.

"Hey girl" she smiles. There is this blue wall behind her. "Hey are you at Dylans?" I ask. She nods. "Mhm but he's in the bathroom so what's up. Why are you in the dark?" "I'm walking back home from the skate park" "Skate park? You can't skate" "I know but Lily asked me to go with her" "who's Lily?" "A friend" "not your new bestfriend right?" "No I already got you" i laugh. "Good" "hey do you know where Nick is?" "He said he was going to the tree house why?" "I called him but he didn't answer. But if he's a the tree house then that explains"

Me and Mara talk for a few more minutes untill Dylan comes back. I say hi to him before leaving them alone. I decide to try Nick again. He answers this time.

"Hi baby" I smile. "Hey angel" he smiles back. "Are you outside?" "Mhm" "well doesn't matter. I got some news" he says enthusiastic. "What?" "I'm gonna visit you this weekend" he smiles. "Wait really?!?" I say happy. He nods. "Oh my god" "I spoke with your parents and they think it's ok if I stay at your house this weekend" "I can't wait" I say happy.

A few minutes later I get home. I slowly open the door. My parents are upstairs in their room. I say a quick hi to let them know I'm home. I then walk to my room with Nick still on the phone. I put my phone on my bed and grab my pajamas. I change real quick and put the vlothes I was wearing in the laundry bucket. I grab my phone and walk in to the bathroom. I set my phone up so Nick can see me and start to brush my teeth and wash my face and stuff.

I then shut the lights off in the bathroom and walk to my bed. I crawl under the sheets. Me and Nick talk for a few more minutes until I go to sleep.
