does he like me?

~next morning~
I've been laying down for like 15 min now doing nothing. I really don't feel like going to school today.

I hear a knock on the frontdoor. I hear my mom opening it. The i hear a familiar voice.

"Is Olivia here?" I hear Nick ask.

"Yes, i think she's still upstairs. You are?" My mom asks him.

"I'm nick one of her friends" "oh nice to meet you. You can go upstairs. Do you know where here room is?" "Uh no actually" "second door to the left" "thank you"

I hear foodsteps getting to my room. Next tbere is a knock on my door. I don't say anything. Then it slowly opens and Nicks head pops up.

"Just like I thought" he says when he sees I'm still in my bed. "Girll you need to get up". He walks into the room walking up to me. He pulls the sheets off me. I groan.

"I don't wanna goo!" "You'll have to"

Nick walks to my closet grabbing clothes for me to put on.

"Come on!"

I groan. I get up and take the clothes. I walk into the bathroom and get changed》

When i get out nick is sitting on my bed on his phone.

"Good you're done now grab your stuff so we can go to Starbucks before we go to school" "yes!"

He laughs at me for getting happy all of a sudden.

I grab my stuff and we get into Nicks car. He drives to Starbucks and orders our drinks.

"Mmm i really needed this. Why did you order a third one tho?" i say taking a sip of my drink.

"You'll see" nick says.

He drives to school. Then I see a familiar face.

"I totally forgot!" I say enthusiastic.

Nick laughs. "That's why I bought a third one"

We get out of the car. And walk up to Chase standing there.

"Hey bro. Where is Ryland?" Nick asks giving Chase a hug. "Right here" Ryland says walking up to us. "Goodmorning liv" he says going to me for a hug. I hug him back. "Morning Ry" i smile. "Olivia Newman this is Chase hudson. Chase hudson Olivia Newman" nick says.

Chase holds out his hand. I grab it. "I've heard about you" he says. "I've heard about you to" i say giving him a smile. He smiles back.

"Lets go inside" Ryland says.

We walk inside and get to our lockers.

"So how was your flight?" I ask Chase.

"It was fine. Didn't get any sleep because of a baby but yea couldn't do anything about it" he says

"Oh that sucks" i say

"Which period do you have?" Nick asks Chase.

"English" he answers

"Oh I have math"

"Same for me" i say.

"I've got English to so meet yall at lunch?" Ryland says.

We all agree and then walk to our first period.

"So what do you think about Chase?" Nick asks.

"He's nice" i say.

For lunchbreak we decided to go to Subway. There is one close to our school. we're walking back to the car when we got our orders.

"So Olivia, are you like Nick girlfriend?" Chase asks.

Nick and Ryland are walking far ahead of us so they can't hear what he said.

"What?? No. Why would you think that?" I ask.

"It's just that Nick drives you to school, he looks at you in a way that made me think you were and he asked you to stay over at his house for a week. He has never asked a girl to stay over at his house. Not even his other girlfriends. If they wanted to hang he would always go there. You can ask Emma. She has never seen one of Nicks girlfriends." Chase said.

I stopped listening after he said "he looks at you in a way that made me think you were". I mean i did notice Nick looking at me a lot. But i just thought it was because i was beeing stoopid or there was something like in my hair or something. Does Nick have a crush on me? Does he like me? Do i like him?

This made me question a lot of things. I think a was lost in my thoughts a little to long because Chase was waving his hand infront of me.

"Olivia you still here?"

"Sorry. But no me and Nick are just friends" i say.

"Word" chase says.

"Word?" I ask laughing a bit.

"Oh it's a thing me and my friends says it just like a yes or a ok"

"That makes sence" i laugh.

Even tho i was ahead of Chase and Olivia I could stillhear the end of their conversation. We are just friends. I don't know how she didn't notice. I mean yes i like her. She's just different. Cliche i know. It's true though. It kinda hurts hearing her say that we're just friends. I guess she doesn't feel the same way.
