𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐍𝐄𝐖 𝐁𝐎𝐘 ~ 𝐍𝐢𝐜𝐤 𝐀𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧

Max

The next morning I wake up. I grab my phone to text Nick.

Me: baby you're so sweet 🥰
Babe💞👀: that was random bu thank you babe :)
Me: what do you random? I got your necklace :)
Babe💞👀: necklace?
Me: babe you came to my house and put an box with a necklace in it in my bathroom right??
Babe💞👀: stay where you are baby. I'm coming over

Nick didn't gave me the necklace?? Then who did?? My mom?? No she would have just gave it to me. But who did then??

After a few minutes later there is a knock on my door. I run downstairs and open the door hugging the person that's at my door. I get a text I grab my phone.

Babe💞👀: I'm almost there

My eyes go wide open. I look up. I didn't hug Nick as I thought I did. It was Max... he smiles at me. Then looks at my neck. He gets a worried look on his face.

"W-why are you here?" I ask scared that he will do something to me. "Calm down. I'm here to help" he says walking towards me. I back away.

"No. You're Sams friend. I heared what you guys did to Andrea!" I said a little to loud. His face drops. "You know Sam forced me to do that" "you can say no can you??" "I get that you're scared but would you please just let me explain. And get that necklace off your neck it's dangerous" he says. "Why?" I ask. "Because Sam put a chip in it. He can see where you are unless you break the chip" he says. I get the necklace of my neck not letting my eyes off Max.

Then a car pulls up on my driveway. Nick gets out of the car. Max gets a worried look on his face. Nick knocks. I hesitate to go to the door since Max is in my way. He steps aside.

"I told you, I'm here to help" he says. I look at him confused running towards the door.

He can be right. Maybe he is here to help. But he can also just be a spy for Sam.

I open the door for Nick. As soon as Nick sees Max he gets an angry look on his face and walks towards him. He trows a punch to Maxs face.

"Okay I desevered that" max says. I run towards them. "Are you okay?" I ask. "What? You're asking him if he's ok?" Nick says confused. "Just like I told her. I came here to help" Max says standing up. "And why would we belief you?" Nick asks. "I get that you may not belief me but it's true"

Nick looks at me. "He did help me with the necklace. And if he really wanted to do something to me he could easily have done it already" i say still debating if we should trust him.

Max groans touching his eye with his finger. "Wait let me get you some ice" I walk to the kitchen, grab some ice and walk back to the guys.

"So how do you wanna help?" Nick asks with an angry tone. "Well I came to warn you that Sam is planning on doing something tonight. I told him I'm not helping him and now he's mad at me to" "babe you're coming with me" nick says. "Oh no you guys should stay here. He's coming for you" Max says. "Didn't he text you?" Max asks me. Nick looks at m confused.

"Y-yes" I say quiet knowing Nick is gonna be angry at me. "HE WHAT? WHEN?" Nick yells. "Yesterday when I was at your house... he texted me that if I don't do what he wants he's gonns do something to you" I say. "That asshole" nick didn't seem mad at me but only at Sam. I feel a little better.

"Yes but I can help you go around him. But you do have to trust me" max says. "What's your plan?" I ask.

Max explains his plan.

"No, we're not doing that" Nick says. "What if he takes her?" "He will not. You and I will be there and we call the police as soon as we see Sam. Olivia just has to keep him there other wise he will run away again" Max says. "I'll do it" I say. "WHAT?? NO!" Nick says. "Babe if I don't do it he will go to another girl and do the same to her" I say. Nick sighs. "I'll be carefull" i smile.

He smiles a sad smile back. I kiss him. "It's gonna be okay".

Max leaves and me and Nick stay at my house for the day. We're watching a movie when I get a text.

Sam: hey bbg you wanna hang tomorrow?
Me: I mean no but you'll probably do something if I don't so
Sam: smart girl. I'll see you at the mall then ;)
Me: ok

I put my phone away and sigh. "Guess we're really doing this" Nick says. I nod. He hugs me thight. We get back to the movie.
