You

Zethes was really annoying me. He was currently telling me about his last girlfriend was currently frozen as an ice sculpture in the throne room. He told me that he would be so thrilled if I would join them. He said he needed a new girl to play with.

"I'm not being your stupid ice puppet," I said.

"Oh come on, I swear if Khione gets another boy to keep, I'm going to kill him."

I scoffed. "I can assure you she won't. I'm fairly certain your father can be negotiated with."

"That's only on good days, hot stuff."

I gave him a repulsed glance. "Stop calling me that."

Zethes winked, which happened to be another spasm attack. "Would you rather me call you something better like—"

"Don't finish that sentence." I could almost barf if he came any closer to me. He thought he was so irresistible, but he was quite he opposite.

Zethes pouted. "Don't tell me that was your boyfriend we left back there."

I practically flashed red. "M- my what?" I looked away almost immediately. "No, we're not like that. We barely know each other."

Zethes seemed proud. "Does that mean I can have you?"

I frowned. "Not a chance."

Zethes grumbled something before moving in to state through the slightly open throne room doors.

"Father seems to be discussing things with the Demigods."

I already knew how it went. Except, I'm sure it would be a little different since Zethes was out here with me instead of being in the throne room with Jason and Piper. At least Boreas helped the heroes in the end.

"Oh dear," Zethes said. "Doesn't seem to be going very well."

I looked over in shock. "I'm sure it's not..."

"Never mind. I think he has just agreed to help you Heroes. I was really looking forward to turning you into an ice sculpture."

I frowned. "Well, I was not."

"Well, I guess we will have to see how father takes your appearance." Zethes pokes me in the back with his spear, and  I jumped forward.

The doors swung open moments later as white, billowing clouds of snow spiralled around my feet. I immediately shivered. It was a whole lot colder in the throne room than out in the hall. It made it worse that Zethes was there poking me in the back in seconds.

I held back a growl, but obediently walked through the doors. I don't know why they were making such a big deal out of this, Boreas was already going to...

I froze in my tracks when Boreas finally spotted me, but I guessed he was Aquilon in this moment. I wasn't sure which one was better though. From what I could recall, Boreas and Aquilon were fairly similar.

Yet, from the look the god gave me in that moment, I could feel cold pressing in from all directions. It felt like ice on the back of my neck and down my arms.

"You shouldn't be here." Boreas said, staring at me with an icy intensity. He didn't even have the light weight tone from before.

I cast a quick glance at Piper and Jason who were standing at the side of the hall. I'm pretty sure that my eyes were just as wide as theirs.

"This game has become a lot more dangerous, and I'm afraid I can't let you leave." Boreas nodded his head at a pair of ice soldiers before the door slammed shut behind me.
