P-O-V Nico:
"Dad, I think I'm homosexual." I said while sitting down for dinner. "Wow Nico that's great!" Bianca, my sister said, "Do you have a cru-""You idiot. How dare you have feelings for someone! Of the same gender! Unthinkable! You are a disgrace to the family Nico! I have to get rid of you..." My father walked over to the knife block. "Nico run." Bianca whispered. Father turned back around. "Nico!" She said loudly. "Run!" She screamed at me as I stood in shock. "Not without you!" I grabbed her hand and she pulled away. "Nico!" "Bianca I'm not losing someone else I love!" She looked at me with tear filled eyes, "I love you Nico." She said and she pushed me towards the stairs. I stumbled up the stairs, away from the fight going on downstairs. "Dad stop!" Bianca yelled. "Dad! Dad no! Dad please! NO!" There was a thud and then silence. Soon there was footsteps climbing up the stairs. I rushed into my room and locked the door. "Bianca no!" I whispered with tears running down my face. I pulled out my phone and dialed 9-1-1 and told them to send a police car and an ambulance.
I waited by my window. "NICO DI ANGELO OPEN THIS DOOR RIGHT NOW!" My father thundered. I opened the window. He pounded at the door and stab at the handle with his knife. "Bianca I love you." I whispered. The door fell to the floor with a slam. "Father please don't do this. Please! You've already killed your daughter! Your other daughter could be anywhere in the world! You wife is dead because of your brother! Father please!" My father raised his knife and looked me in the eyes. "Nico, this is for your own good." The knife went airborne. There was a sharp pain in my chest and darkness became my new best friend.
*time skip*
"Hey kid! Kid are you awake?" My eyes fluttered open. "Uuuuuuuuh..." I responded. "Okay! You're going to the hospital. The knife seems to have missed any vital organs. You're going to be okay." There was a woman in a white paramedic uniform leaning over me. "Name?" She asked when we were in the ambulance. "N-Nico di Angelo." I muttered. "Who was the girl?" "My s-sister Bianca." "Okay, she has a stab wound in the head and chest but it missed her vital brain parts and heart, barely, and she has a fifty-fifty chance of surviving." Bianca's alive? I felt a happiness that was shot down in an instant. "Hello?" Said the lady as she answered a phone call. "Yeah. He's fine. Uh-huh. Oh. Okay. Uh-huh. Thanks. Bye." She hung up. "You are associated with that Percy Jackson boy right?" I nodded, which sent off a fresh wave of pain. "He attempted suicide by strangling himself with medical equipment and sheets. He's not going to make it."
