Chapter Eight

P-O-F Nico:
"Bianca! Bianca no! Bianca!" Nico tossed and turned in his sleep. A nurse watch from outside sadly. "The poor boy." She muttered before walking in to check his vitals.

P-O-V Nico:
My door clicked open. "B-Bianca?" I asked sleepily. "No sweetie." The nurse said. I sat bolt upright. "Sorry Dorothy." I said. "Oh Nico it's fine! I just came in to check again." I nodded as she set to work. "So news update: Someone died of cancer in Texas, a new bug was found in Siberia, and your father was found guilty of murder and attempted murder and was sentenced to death." "And what about Bianca?" I asked nervously. She didn't respond. "D-Dorothy?" I stuttered. She looked up at me with sad eyes. "Nico, your sister is dead. I'm so sorry. She had something happen in her brain and we couldn't help her. It was already too late." "Dead?" I asked. "She's dead?!?" I started raising my voice, startling the little old nurse. "Dead..." I mumbled. I started to breath rapidly. "Go... Away..." I said to the nurse. She stumbled out of the room worried. I started to shake terribly.

P-O-F Nico:
Nico starts to tremble like a wet kitten or a beaten dog. All of the pain and fear and stress seem to leak out of Nico. His breathing gets rapid and it feels to him as if he's been stuck under water too far. He shivers and pressure pushes on his chest making it impossible to breathe. Nico can't move and feel smothered. A few nurses and doctors rush in to his aid. Nico tries to tell them to stay back but he can't breathe, he move, and he can't talk. Nico starts to cry. For the first time in three years all of the emotion he's blocked up behind a brick wall explodes. It pushes past the invisible barrier and overwhelms Nico. The most vivid and scarring memories are of Percy. Percy the boy he loved but would never love him back. The darkness starts to wrap Nico in a blanket. And he slips away.
