Brooklyn POV

I looked down at my report card for the hundred time. I'm really screwed. My parents are going to kill me if they see my report card. Its not like I got bad grades, its just the teacher's comments. Almost all of the comments stated that I am disruptive in class.

Summer vacation is in three weeks and I don't feel like being on punishment on summer vacation.

I need a computer genius to help fabricate another report card with only positive comments on the comment section.

See, no harm done. I'm just gonna change the comment section, that's all. I will not change my grades. What harm can that do?

I walked into the computer lab and searched for Junior. Believe it or not, Junior is a computer genius. His a master in this type of things.

"Hey Junior," I said tapping his shoulder. "Can we talk?"

He rolled his eyes and he pulled a chair for me. "Make it quick. I've got work to do," he said nonchalantly.

"I need you to make some few changes on my report card," I said and his eyes widen. "Hear me out. Its only the comment section and not my grades."

He scratched the back of his head. "I don't know about this," he started.

"Please. I'm desperate," I pleaded with him.

At this point, I'm willing to do anything. I'll even sell my soul if I have to. I just don't wanna get into trouble with my parents.

Junior sat there rubbing his face. "Fine," he said as he sighed. "Its gonna cost you though."

"Name your price," I said.

"Clean my room every week for a month, I want your TV time for the next month and fifty dollars," he said.

"Deal," I said and we shook hands.

I gave him the report card and he went to work. It took some time but he eventually was done. He gave me the fake card.

"Thanks Corey. This looks exactly like the real report card," I said.

I then took the real card and hid it deep into my backpack. I then went out the computer lab.

"Hey babies," mom said as we entered the living room with her sitting on the recliner.

Lately, our dad has been picking us up from school because mom has been complaining about back pain and her feet hurting. Dad has then taken the responsibility of dropping us off and picking us up from school.

I pray and hope that God also blesses me with such a kind and caring husband like my dad. His willing to do both mommy and daddy duties.

"Hey mom," Junior said giving her a kiss on the cheek and I did likewise.

"Aren't report cards coming out today?" She asked.

"Yes they are," I said taking out the fake report card and gave it to my mom.

I watched as she took her reading glasses and browsed through it. I hope she doesn't notice that it's a fake.

"I'm impressed baby. This is amazing," she said smiling.

I sighed in relief.

Thank the heavens she fell for it.

Junior then gave her his. She took her time on his report card. "Boy, how can you get an A+ in Spanish and get a B- in English?" She asked with a raised eyebrow.

"Them teacher be tripping up in there," Junior said.

Mom took her time and looked at him up and down as she squinted her eyes. "You know what? With what you just said, I see why you got that B-," she said.

I'm so glad everything went smoothly.

"I'm really proud of you two," my mom said happily.

"Whose proud of who?" My dad said walking in the living room and planted a kiss on mom's lips then went over and kissed her belly which made her smile.

"Here. See for yourself," she said handing him the report cards.

He looked at them and a smile crept up on his face. "This is really impressive Carters," he said nodding. "One query though. Junior, how can you get an A+ in Spanish and a B- in English?" He said chuckling.

"I believe we should reward them babe," mom said looking up to dad and he nodded. "That settles it then. This weekend we are taking you two shopping," mom said directing to us. We wrapped everything up and we headed upstairs to change out of our school uniforms.

It feels really good to get away with murder.
