Junior POV

For the past couple of days I've been trying to convince mom that her and dad should not meet my boo thang but that woman is so determined.

"Here's your phone," my mom said entering my bedroom. She came and sat on my bed and I sat up straight. "You're gonna need it to contact this CC," she said.

I took my phone and placed it on my nightstand. "Mama can you please reconsider about this Saturday lunch," I said lowly.

She just closed her eyes and and slowly nodded. "Its way too hot to argue right now," she said now looking at me.

I went to my mom and knelt in front of her. "Mama please. I ain't ready," I said.

"How long have you been dating this CC?" She asked.

"About a year now," I said and her eyes widen. "Even so I'm still not ready for you guys to meet," I said innocently.

She sat back rubbing her belly. "Look here little boy. Your sister is kicking up a storm here and you being such a nag on this topic is not what I currently need. We are meeting this CC. No questions asked. Am I clear?" She said sternly.

"Yes ma'am," I said lowly.

"Good. Now help me get up," she said and helped her up. I watch her waddle out of my room.

There's no getting out of this. I gotta meet up with my boo thang to discuss this.

Brooklyn POV

I'm so glad I'm off punishment at school. I don't know about the punishment here at home.

Junior came jogging down the stairs. "Where are you off too?" I said as he walked pass me.

"None of your business," he said stopping then smiling weakly.

Justin then came running into the kitchen. "Junior, can you please get me yoghurt up in the top shelf of the fridge," he said innocently.

"Mom said you are suppose to eat fruits as a snack," I said knocking him upside the head.

He glared at me. "That's why his getting me a fruit flavoured yoghurt," he said rolling his eyes.

This boy just finds loop holes in every rule that is given to him so that it works in his favour.

"Junior, Justin and you Brooklyn come here," my dad whispered as he stood on the bottom of the stairs.

We looked at each other confused then we walked towards him. I noticed that dad would constantly look over his shoulder.

"Is something wrong dad?" Junior asked.

"Look you three. Your mom is up in our room. If she asks you guys if she's fat, just say she's not. She's having one of those emotional episodes," he said still whispering.

That's some new information. Mom was never this insecure about herself when she was pregnant with the twins.

"Got it," we all said in unison. He nodded his head and we followed him upstairs to mom.

We got inside their room only to find mom lying on the bed while slowly stroking Josline's back. Josline was sleeping peacefully with her head on mom's lap.

"Hey babies," she said smiling.

"Hey mama. Dad said you called us," Junior said walking in behind us.

"Am I fat?" She said pouting.

"No," Junior and I said.

"Yes you are," Justin said confidently.

Junior and I looked at him annoyed. I thought dad made it clear to us that we tell mom that she's not fat. Now why is Justin deviating from the initial plan?

Mom started looking sad. "Mom his just joking," I said chuckling nervously.

"No I'm not," Justin said looking at me. "Look at her, she's really big. If she fell. I'm pretty sure they'll be an earthquake. She's so fat, when she gets dressed she uses a boomerang to put on her belt," he said laughing.

Dad dragged Justin outside the room and Junior followed behind.

Great.

Now I'm left with my hormonal mother who's on the verge of tears.

Junior POV

I'm so glad my dad allowed me to go out. Now I'm waiting on my boo so I can break the news.

"Hey Junior. What was so urgent that you wanted to talk to me in person?" my boo said sitting across the table from me.

I took a deep breath. "My parents want to meet you this Saturday," I said.

"That's no problem. I'm fine with that."

"That's great to hear but I'm kinda nervous," I said fidgeting with my fingers.

My boo took my hand from across the table. "I'm nervous too but we'll be there for each other. Your parents are really cool and I believe they are not gonna be hard on me," my boo said then leaned over and pecked my lips.

We then ordered food and we enjoyed the rest of the afternoon.
