Beyonce POV
2 weeks later...

Today I'm shopping for my baby girl. I asked my younger sister, Solange if she can tag along.

"This onesie looks so cute. Imma buy it for my niece," Solange said excitedly.

We went to different baby stores looking at clothes and picking other stuff the baby may need.

"So, how are my babies?" Solange asked as we got into another baby store.

"Brook and Junior got their report cards back and it was all good. We decided to take them shopping to show them how proud we are," I said looking through some clothes.

"Who knew you pop out genius babies," she said laughing.

Just when I was about answer her. My phone rang.

"Hello," I said picking it up.

"Hello. Am I talking to Mrs Carter. Mother to Brooklyn Starr Carter?"

"Yes, this is she. What seems to be the problem?"

"Brooklyn got into trouble here at school and she is in the principal's office right now. The principal requests that please come to the school. Its urgent."

"Yes I'm on my way. Bye," I said then I hung up.

Solange looked at me concerned. "What's wrong?" She asked.

"It Brooklyn. They said she got into trouble at school," I said rubbing my temples.

I got into the reception of the school and they directed me to the principal's office.

I got in the office and found Brooklyn already seated with Mrs Ford, the principal seated in front of her.

"I'm so glad you could come on such short notice Mrs Carter," she started as I sat down next to Brooklyn who had her head hanging down.

"It no big deal," I said. "What seems to be the problem Mrs Ford?"

"Well Brooklyn's teachers have been complaining about her disruptive behavior in class. They've even sent notes to you and your husband about what she does," she said then bent down and took some file from her drawer then placing it on her desk.

"What's that?" I asked pointing at the file.

She took some card out and gave it to me. "As you see there Mrs Carter, that's Brooklyn's latest report card with all the comments. You and your husband even signed it," she said as I held it in my hand.

"This doesn't make any sense," I said looking through the report card. "This is not the report card I received and I don't remember signing this one."

"Brooklyn," Mrs Ford said looking at her. "Is this the card you gave your parents to sign?"

She shook her head.

"Use your words," I said sternly.

"No. I made my parents sign a fake report card and then I forged their signatures on the real report card," she said fidgeting with her fingers.

Saying I was furious will be an understatement. I was beyond furious at this point.

"What about the notes? Where are they?" I said giving Brooklyn the stink eye.

She took her backpack and dug inside then took out about five notes and placed them on the table.

Mrs Ford then told me that Brooklyn is gonna serve punishment for three weeks. I assured Mrs Ford that she's never gonna do such.

I got out of the office with Brooklyn trailing behind me. She better keep a safe distance from me. We got into the car and I drove us home without saying a word.

We got into the house and Brooklyn went up to her room while I went to the kitchen to get myself some grapes.

"Brooklyn Starr Carter come here," I said as she walked into the kitchen. I looked at her but she avoided eye contact.

"I'm sorry mama," she said lowly.

"Its too late for that little girl. I would have never thought that you would do such. Who helped you with that fake report card?" I asked trying to be calm.

She simply looked down.

"Is it someone I know?" I asked.

She just kept quiet.

"Answer me!" I yelled and she flinched. I took in a couple of deep breaths because this child is just testing me. "If I deal with you myself believe me imma have this baby early. Imma let your father handle you. Now get your little narrow behind up in your room before I say something I will regret," I said calmly.

Shawn POV

Bey told me to not wait for Brooklyn because she picked her up and that I must get some Chinese because she doesn't feel like cooking. I wonder what's the problem?

I got inside the house and I told Junior and the twins to go put the bags in the kitchen then go change.

I walked into the living room and found Bey just staring at the blank TV screen.

"What's up with the TV watching you?" I said sitting next to her.

She flinched a bit and she looked at me. "Well, your genius daughter has hidden notes teachers send about her disruptive behavior. To top it all off she gave us a fake report card and forged both of our signatures on the real one," she said.

Oh hell no.

"Brooklyn Starr Carter! Get down here!" I yelled as I stood up.

She came in the living room with her head hanging down.

"What's up with you? Since when do you deify authority?" I said looking at her with furrowed eyebrows.

"I'm sorry daddy," she said sniffling.

"Don't you dare cry," I warned her. "Who helped you with the fake report card?" I asked.

She kept quiet.

Is that how she wants to play? Fine by me. I unbuckled my belt and held her wrists tightly then I started beating her all over. I was way too furious to even feel the pain when the belt would hit me.

"Its Junior! He's the one who helped me!" She said loud enough for us to hear.

"Oh hell no!" Bey said getting up. "Shawn Corey Carter Jr! Get your ass down here!" Bey yelled.

We heard footsteps and Bey went to meet him halfway. She came back dragging him with his ear.

"What the hell is wrong with you?" She said looking at him. "What in your right mind makes you think its okay forging a report card?" She asked and he said nothing. "You kids are really pissing me off with this silence thing," she said sternly.

She continued to yell at both if them. I tried calming her down but she just didn't calm down. All this stress ain't good for her or the baby. She eventually told them to hand in their electronics.

I've seen Bey mad but I've never seen her this mad. I was even kinda scared of her.

She then sat down on the couch. I watched as her chest heaved up and down. She rubbed her belly with her eyes closed.

"Is something wrong?" I asked as I sat next to her.

"Its nothing much babe. I'm just cramping a bit and my back is starting to hurt. Nothing I can't handle," she said.

She laid her head on my shoulder while we watched some TV.
