*It was really strange watching the world from a Bandits' point of view. Ella thought, as Trisa led her through the village.
Already, she had seen the waterfall where the young people go to play and swim sometimes, the kitchen, Ella got to speak to some of the women there and was dumbfounded at the level of organization in the village.
Food was cooked in the large communal pot and the women took turns in cooking for the whole vilage.
A bell would be rung at meals hour they gathered at the dining area to eat. They would wash their plates after every meals and stack them up where they should be.
The accomodation for the males was seperate from that of the females, Trisa told Ella.
"Why?" Ella asked like she did not already know the answer.
Trisa rolled her eyes, catching the thrill on Ella's face. Just then the bell for breakfast rang. "We should head to the dining now."
Ella agreed and followed beside Trisa. Most of the villagers were already walking in groups to the eating area.
The bell produced striking, sonorous sounds that easily travelled across the village.
The dining area was quite impressive. There were up to seven long tables placed with benches around their two longer sides. Each table positioned vertically was meant to hold at least thirty persons, meaning there could be about two hundred people living in the village or more because Trisa told Ella that some people may decide to skip any of the meals to eat from their own supplies.
Trisa with her sharp eyes spotted Prince Eric seating at the sixth table and she nudged Ella. "There's your Prince. You better go grab that spot beside him before someone eyes it."
Ella blushed at what Trisa said but she nodded realizing that some girls were already glancing suggestively at the table. "Oh, okay. But aren't you eating with us?"
"No. I have somewhere to be."
"Is it that important that you have to skip breakfast?" Ella asked.
Trisa rubbed the back of her neck. "Well-"
Ella grinned, forcing a plate and spoon into Trisa's hand. "You're eating breakfast. Come on."
Grumbling, Trisa walked with Ella to where the Prince was. He was talking with some men but as soon as he noticed Ella, he halted his conversation and smiled.
The movement of his lips warmed Ella's heart and cheeks. "Morning." She said to him.
Eric scooted over to let Ella seat next to him with her empty plate. Trisa settled in between two men that she was familiar with. "Did you sleep well?" He asked.
"Yes. Did you?"
Eric nodded, watching her intently. "I fell asleep with the thoughts of a certain person on my mind."
