Sophie landed softly on the grass in front of the Alexandrite waterfall, while Keefe landed on his butt. "Ow." He groaned before he looked around at where he sat. "Woah. Where are we?"

Sophie grabbed Keefe's hand and hauled him to his feet. "Storm training base." She glanced around for any sign of Rain, but she couldn't find her. "Follow me." Sophie pulled him down the hall, only to suspiciously find no one around. While Keefe gawked at their surrounding Sophie searched for any sign of life and when she about to give up, a crash sounded from a room down the hall. Sophie dashed towards the sound, dragging Keefe behind her.

Sophie stopped in front of the tech room door that stood slightly ajar and pushed it open. She found Penny rushing around the room with a box full of tech devices that she pulled off the machines around. "Penny?" She called as she walked in. Penny jerked around and dropped her box. Sophie swiftly caught it with telekinesis and floated it back up to Penny. "Sorry."

"It's okay." Penny reassured as she grabbed the box. "But what you doing here? Why aren't you at Jadeite? And who's that?" Penny gestured to Keefe.

"We're looking for Rain. What's Jadeite?" Sophie asked.

"Who's he?" Penny countered with a raised eyebrow.

"This is my friend Keefe." Sophie said before repeating. "What's Jadeite?"

Penny went back to collecting tech as she answered. "Jadeite is a Storm tactical facility. It's mostly elf agents, but when we're on the brink of war you'll find all kinds of species there."

"Jadeite, another rare gemstone." Sophie whispered to herself before asking Penny, "How do we get there?"

Penny didn't look up as she told Sophie, "Use the Leapmaster. I'm sorry but I can't go with you. I still have a few more things to wrap up here."

"Thank you." Sophie said as she and Keefe left the tech room.

"Is she a...... human?" Keefe asked as they made their way towards the Leapmaster.

"Yes. Storm has different divisions with their own species. Penny's from the human division." Sophie told Keefe as they reached the Leapmaster room. She pushed open the door and pulled him inside with her. "JADEITE!"

Sophie opened her eyes to find herself and Keefe in the center of a crowded courtyard. They stood on a lumenite platform with intricate carvings and the crystal lights of a leapmaster above them. The courtyard was a large cavernous room with multiple small exits and one large exit. The cavern glowed with the light of bioluminescent algae and made it a magnificent sight to behold.

No one spared Sophie and Keefe a second glance as they stepped off the platform. She searched for any familiar faces but came up empty. "What do we do now?" Keefe whispered.

Sophie thought for a minute as she glanced around. Then an idea hit her. She clutched Keefe's hand tighter as she walked up to a random person. "Excuse me, could you tell me where to find Rain Storm?" The man just brushed past Sophie and she glared at his back.

"Lets try someone else." Keefe suggested. So that's what they did, they asked every person they could find but they all just ignored them.

"Now what do we do? This place is so big we'll never find Rain." Keefe groaned.

"I don't know." Sophie said and she hung her head. Then she remembered what Rain told her about spies and her head shot up. "Wait a minute. I do know what to do." She whispered
