*****TREY
A lot can happen in four days or should I say you could get a lot done in four days. In the past four days, I have booked my flight to Vegas, arranged a place to stay out there, arranged for my place in Atlanta to be looked after while I was gone for however long, and took care of some stuff involving my sophomore album. All I had to do now was get to the airport on time. I was headed in that direction as I prepared to walk out of the door of my place. I grabbed my car keys and took another look around to check and see if anything was still running; everything was good. I sighed as I opened the door and there she stood.
"We need to talk," she said, pushing me back into the living room. She looked down at my two suitcases. "It looks like I caught you just in time."
I rolled my eyes, as I sat my luggage down beside the door, before closing it. She walked over towards the living room and stood. I inhaled and then exhaled before turning around to look at her.
"Caira, what can I do you for?"
"You can't do shit for me but continue to keep that trap of yours closed," she spat. "I know how you get with that diarrhea of the mouth."
I scoffed, as I walked over towards her.
"What the fuck are you rambling about now?"
"You know what the hell I am talking about, Trey. Don't play dumb with me, although I know it's not that far of a stretch."
"Go to hell, Caira. I don't have time for your consistent bullshit today. Just say what you need to say and get the fuck out. I have a plane to catch."
"Where are you off to this time?"
"When I want you to know my business, I will tell you. Now, get to your point before I physically remove your irritating ass," I groaned. "I don't need your shit today."
"Whatever. I just came over to remind you that Austin's birthday is coming up soon. You know what that means, don't you?"
I sighed, as I stared at her.
"Yes, Caira, I know what that means. It's been an entire year and it still appears the way you wanted it to."
"Me? You were the one begging me not to say anything about that night, remember?"
"That's because Aubrey is my best friend and unlike you, I didn't want to see him hurt. He's the only brother I have," I said as I looked down at my feet. "I can't lose him."
Caira sighed, "You won't lose Aubrey, boy. I'd never let that happen, although I don't really care too much for you," I looked back up at her. "I know you have mad love for him and my son."
