Allison's point of view

Hermione and I rush towards our Divination classroom and blend in with the group of students going up. Hermione and I hastily make our way to Ron's and Harry's table without them noticing when we reach the top.

''Welcome my children. In this room, you shall explore the mysterious art of Divination. In this room, you will discover if you possess the gift of sight. I am Professor Trelawny, together we shall cast ourselves into the future. But know this, One either has the gift or not. It can not be learned through the pages of a book. Books only cloud one's inner eye,'' Trelawny says.

I scoff and roll my eyes as Hermione and I place our books on the table. ''What a load of rubbish,'' Hermione and I say at the same time under our breath. She and I tuck away our time turners so no one sees them. Ron and Harry both turn their heads around and sees us sitting there.

''Where did you two come from?'' Ron asks. Hermione and I look at each other then back at Ron. ''Us? We have been here the entire time,'' Hermione tells my brother. Just as Ron was about to argue with us Trelawny spoke up looking towards Nevile.

''You, boy! Is your grandmother well?'' she asks the petrified guy. Nevile looks at her nervously, ''I think so,'' he says unsure of himself. ''I wouldn't be so sure about that dear,'' Trelawny says. Trelawny then turns to Pravati warning her about the red-haired man.

''The first term would be devoted to the reading of tea leaves. If all goes well, we will proceed to palmistry, fire omens and finally the crystal ball!'' she tells us. ''Unfortunately, classes will be disrupted in February by a nasty bout of the flu. I myself will lose my voice, and in spring one of our numbers will leave us forever,'' Trelawny says. All of us students share unnerved and nervous glances while Trelawny keeps smiling brightly.

Time Skip.

We were all now looking through our books trying to identify some symbols that we see in the teacups that we had switched with our partner. I have Hermione's and she has mine. ''Broaden your eyes to see beyond,'' Trelawny says over dramatically.

I roll my eyes but continue looking through the symbols. Trelawny has a look in Lavender's cup ''A five-leaf clover. You should expect to wake up in the morning with a nasty rash,'' the Professor tells her.

Trelawny then turns around to face Nevile. ''Mr Longbottom, after you have broken your first cup,'' we all of a sudden hear the sound of a cup breaking. ''Would you be so kind as to grab a blue one. I am rather attached to the pink,'' Trelawny tells him.

Trelawny then comes to stand by Ron. I just keep looking through the symbols while listening in. ''What do you see in Mr Potters cup, my dear?'' Trelawny asks him.

I briefly look up and see Ron nod and start flipping through his copy of unfogging the future. ''Well, he's sort of got this wonky cross which means trials and suffering. But this lot here can be the sun which means great happiness. So he is going to suffer but be happy about it,'' Ron says with an unsure look.

I smirk in amusement with my long-forgotten book open in front of me. Trelawny takes the cup to look into it only to gasp and throw the cup on to the table as if it had burned her.

''My dear boy, you have the Grim,'' Trelawny says. I ignore Seamas asking what it is and watch Trelawny. Everyone turns to Lavender as she reads from her textbook. ''The Grim, taking the form of a giant dog. It is among the darkest omens in our world. It is an omen of death!''
