Allison's Point of View.

Once Dumbledore had regained everyone's attention again he continued to tell us about the tournament.

''Now I am aware that some of you will not be aware of what is involved with the Triwizard Tournament. So for those who do, forgive me for giving a short explanation,'' Dumbledore tells us.

''The Tournament was first established around seven hundred years ago. It is a contest between the three largest European schools of wizardry. Durmstrang, Beauxbatons and our wonderful school,'' Dumbledore tells us smiling.

''A champion from each school would be chosen to participate in three magical tasks. Each school takes a turn to the host the tournament every five years,'' Dumbledore tells us.

''It was a way of establishing ties and friendships with others from different nationalities. That is until the death toll grew to much that we had decided to discontinue the Tournament,'' Dumbledore tells us.

Hermione looks at me in panic. We listen to Dumbledore as he tells us about the many attempts that the departments have made to reinstate the Tournament.

''The heads of Durmstrang and Beauxbatons will arrive with their shortlist of potential contestants around October. The three champions will be revealed on Halloween night,'' Dumbledore tells us.

''A judge will decide who is worthy of participating in the Tournament thus winning the glory for the school and one thousand Galleons,'' Dumbledore continues.

''I'm going for it,'' I heard Fred whisper. I look back and see him talking to George, Lee and others surrounding him.

Fred wasn't the only one. At every table, there were students whispering to their neighbour. Everyone quietened down once again when Dumbledore began to speak again.

''As many of you will be eager to bring glory to this school the heads of other schools, the Ministry and I have seen to placing an age restriction for those who are allowed to enter and those who are not,'' Dumbledore begins informs everyone.

''Only students who are of age, that is seventeen years or older are allowed to enter for the chance to be the Hogwarts champion!''

Soon after Dumbledore had said those words, shouts of disagreement were been thrown at him. The twins and Lee, however, were quite loud.

''It is a precaution that we have taken to ensure your safety. These three tasks will be highly difficult. I myself am going to see that no underage students will be entered,'' Dumbledore's eyes flicker towards Fred and George.

''So I advise that you do not bother putting your name forwards if you are underage,'' Dumbledore tells us.

''Now as I said earlier, Durmstrang and Beauxbatons will be arriving at the beginning of October and will be remaining with us for most of the year. I trust that you all will extend kindness to our guests while they are here,'' Dumbledore says.

''I also expect you to give your support to the Hogwarts champion when he or she is chosen,'' Dumbledore tells us. He smiles as he looks over all of the house tables.

''Now it is late. I know that it is important for you all to be rested and alert when you go into your lessons tomorrow. Off to bed,'' Dumbledore orders.

I watch as Dumbledore turns around and sits back down and talks to Moody. I turn around when my hand was grabbed. Harry gives me a questioning look as his eyes glance between me and the head table.

''it's nothing,'' I tell him waving him off. He looks at me in concern for a moment before nodding not looking at all convinced.

He and I turn around and leave the Great Hall with Hermione and Ron who were waiting with Lee and the twins.
