Chapter Twenty-Seven

Allison's Point of View.

I look around and take the necklace from Jasper, Alice's and Harry's necks. ''What just happened?'' Harry asks. I ignore him and look at the time. ''Seven-thirty. Where were we at seven-thirty?'' I ask turning to face Harry as we walk out of the hospital wing. 

''I don't know going down to Hagrid's,'' Harry tells me. ''So you four did sneak out of the castle,'' Jasper says. I look at the three of them before pulling them into a storage room when we neared the entrance hall

I pull out my necklace and show it to them. ''Listen this is a time turner. We have gone back three hours in time,'' I tell them. ''But,'' Harry was about to say something before I covered his mouth. 

''Shhh, I hear someone coming. I think it's us,'' I tell him, Alice and Jasper. ''Footsteps across the hall,'' Jasper tells us. 

''Yeah that's us going down to Hagrid's,'' I tell them nodding. ''Are you telling me that we are here in the cupboard because we are out there too?'' Harry asks. 

I look at him and nod. ''Yeah, it doesn't sound like more than four people. We're walking slowly because we are under the Invisibility cloak,'' I tell him.

''Invisablitly Cloak?'' Alice asks. I look at her ''It was Harry's fathers. He got it for Christmas in our first year,'' I tell them. I held up my hand stopping them from asking any more questions. 

''I think we have gone down the front steps,'' I tell them. I look at Alice and Jasper knowing they have better hearing. 

They focus for a moment before nodding at us. I sit down on and wait for a few moments. ''Where did you get the time turner?'' Harry asks. I look at him and sigh. 

''McGonigal gave them to Hermione and I when the school year started,'' I tell him. ''Hermione and I have been using it to get to all of our lessons and exams,'' I tell him. 

''Look Harry we would have told you but McGonigal made us swear not to tell anyone. She had to write all sorts of letters to the Ministry. She had to tell them how we were model students and that we would never use for anything other than lessons,'' I tell them all. 

''Look you three, I don't know what Dumbledore wants us to do. But turning back three hours, how is that going to help Sirius,'' I tell them. 

''There must be something that happened now that he wants you two change,'' Jasper tells us. ''What happened when you four were at Hagrid's,'' Alice asks. 

''We were there comforting him because Buckbeck was to be,'' I stop in the middle of my sentence when it hit me. It looked liked Harry figured it out as well. 

''Allison we have to save Buckbeak,'' Harry tells me. ''Of course, we would use Buckbeak to fly up to Flitwick's office and break Sirius out,'' I tell him. ''Then Sirius could escape with Buckbeak,'' Harry nods. 

''If we can manage all that without being seen it would be a miracle,'' I tell them. ''Well we have to try,'' Harry tells me. 

He gets up and listens for footsteps outside. ''It doesn't sound like there is anyone out there,'' Harry tells me. I nod and together with Jasper and Alice we exit the storage room. 

''I am now starting to get why you end up in the hospital wing a lot,'' Alice mutters. ''Yeah you four seem to get into dangerous situations every year,'' Jasper says. Harry and I look at each other knowing why we get into situations like this.
