The Weyland-Yutani Corporation had long heard of the spookiness of one Amity Park and had created a group that specifically dealt with spectres called The Guys in White. Their job was to capture and study ghosts to help the business grow better and faster.
When word reached the higher ups of the Ghost Boy named Danny Phantom, they sent out all of their top agents, just to be foiled by the boy time and time again. It was only when they had caught a small glimpse of the two helping him that an idea formed in their minds. To turn the goth and tech geek against their friend and capture the ghsot freak.
%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%Amity Park was having a rare day where no ghost fights had broken out. It was a welcome break for Danny Fenton, a.k.a The ghost boy Danny Phantom, since he hadn't had very much time to himself since he decided to become the hero his town needed.
As he went home, he couldn't keep the smile off his face. He landed on the ground and shifted back into his human side, white hair going to black, green eyes to blue. As he went up to the door, his two best friends Samantha (Sam) Manson and Tucker Foley came bursting out of his house and began dragging him off.
"Whoa! Whats going on?" asked the blue eyed teen.
"Sleep over at Sam's place. You didn't forget did you Danny?" Tucker questioned, looking up from his precious P.D.A for a moment to barely meet Danny's eyes before glancing down again."Oh man that's today? It completely slipped my mind!" Danny stated unhappily.
"Don't worry about it Danny. With all the ghosts that have been attacking lately, im surprised they managed to leave you alone today." Sam replied matter of factly.Danny grinned happily at his best friends, unaware of what awaited him. As they entered the front door of the large house, they saw the Mansons heading out.
"Now do be good Samantha. And there better not be a mess when we get back." Mrs. Manson stated, eyeing Danny and Tucker with barely concealed disdainfully.
"Don't worry Mom, nothing will be out of place." Sam retorted, rolling her purple eyes. Her parents sniffed haughtilly and walked out.Danny followed Sam into the house, therefore missing the odd gleem in Tucker's eyes as he entered and closed the door softly behind the two. As they went further into the house, Sam turned and looked at the two boys.
"I had my Grandma convince my parents to put a new room in. You wanna go see it?" She asked, eyes bright in anticipation. Tucker nodded enthusiastically and drug Danny along. It was at this point that Danny started to get a bad feeling, but he went with his friends anyway.
Sam led them through several halls and stairways before coming to a stop before a large wooden door. With a grin, she tossed it open and Tucker shoved Danny through the threshold. He turned, and was hit with a blast that made him fly back and land on the floor.
Danny stared up at his so called friends as his red and green blood flowed from the wound in his side.
"Why?" He croaked, tears beginning to fall from his eyes, and turning into ice crystals before shattering on the floor.
"Sorry Danny, but they offered us something besides friendship." His longtime crush Samantha Mason stated coldly, looking at the bloody form laying on the ground in front of her."Tuck?" Danny called hopefully, only to be met with the greedy gleam of his oldest friend. "Sorry Danny," The boy in the red beret shrugged. "They offered to let me make a whole new system for the government and be in charge of it as well as clear all of the discrepancies that I did in all the hacking i've done." Tucker Foley stated, holstering the tranqualizing pistol that had been given to him by the guys in white.
As Danny's eyes began to go blurry, he tried to go intangible to get away, only to scream in pain when he couldn't.
"Did you really think we would let you get away?" Sam asked, leering at the ghost boy. As Danny stared at his friends in betrayal, he collapsed and his world went dark.
Sam and Tucker looked down at the fallen form of their payday and a chuckle met their ears. Turning, they saw the man that had promised for their lives to get better.
"I give thanks to the both of you for making this so easy." The elderly man with receding white hair stated grinning at them."We did what you asked us to, so what about our reward?" Sam questioned eagerly.
"Ah yes, about that. You both are very lucky to not be going to jail right now." Came the amused reply.
"What do you mean by that?! You said that you were going to make all of our illegal things disappear!" Tucker shouted angrily."Ah, but we never signed a contract did we? I just used the both of you to capture the boy, and now that that task is completed, you both are no longer needed, and so if you don't want to end up in jail for many many years, i suggest you drop the subject." The man stated, losing the amusement and snapping his fingers.
Men dressed in white suits swarmed into the room and lifted the unconcious Halfa into their arms and leaving quickly. The protests fell on deaf ears as the man walked away, leaving them behind to realize their mistake.
"What have we done Sam?" Tucker asked, staring at the empty hall in disbelief.
Sam had no answer for her friend, as the guilt for their actions hit them. That would be the last time they would ever see their old friend, for even when they searched far and wide, they never found him, and Danny's sister Jaz, never forgave them for what they had done to her little brother.
