Dallas skidded into a room and hid inside a locker just a few minutes before the creature entered. He gulped quietly as it seemed to look around, as if wondering where he went. A low hiss came from the black animal before it slunk away, leaving a relieved Dallas behind.
He waited in the locker for about an hour, before slowly emerging from his hiding place. He quietly left the room and tiptoed silently down another hall. Behind him, a shadow slid from the wall and began to creep closer to the unaware man.
"Dallas!" Lambert called in warning, but it was too late. He looked down at the object that protruded from his chest before letting his head fall back, and he saw the sleek black head of the creature he thought had left.
'You are one ugly.' was as far as he got with his thought before blood spattered the wall and the light in his eyes died.
Lambert was crying even as Ripley, Ash, and Parker stood in shock.
"It set a trap." Ripley muttered quietly, face utterly pale.
"How smart is it?" Parker asked, a pale shade of green.
"By my calculations, it is extremly intelligent." Was Ash's quiet reply.
Ripley turned and headed for the captains office.
'What are you doing?" Ash questioned, not turning from the tracker.
"Going to see what Mother has to say." Came the snapped retort.
"Come on Lambert. Lets go get you calm yeah?" Parker gently took her arm and led her away, leaving Ash alone by the air duct controler and with the tracker. Ash made sure he was alone, before exposing a wire in his finger and plugging in to the security cameras.
He watched the alien as it went into the room that housed the halfa. A smirk crossed his face, thinking that the alien specimen had killed the white haired teen.
'Now, just to take care of the rest of the crew.' He mused, carefully making his way to the captains office after Ripley.

Danny stood from the spot he had been sitting in since Sliver had first sat on his lap and he stretched, causing his joints to pop and creak. A relieved groan left him and he looked up when his friend slipped into the room.
"Hi Sliver." He greeted. A low hiss was the returned greeting and something bloody was pressed into his hand. He let out a sigh, cooked it with his ectoplasm and ate.
"Thank you. I appreciate it." He stated, rolling his eyes. The alien crooned at him and circled the floating boy.
"You stay here, i want to explore a bit more." He ordered, before turning invisible and floating through the door. Sliver let out a rasping growl before following the scent of its pack mate. Danny hovered several feet above the floor as he floated through the Nostromo. The crying of a female caught his attention and he floated up through the ceiling. He found two of the crew in the crew quarters.
"Its alright Lambert. We have Ripley, she won't let us die." Parker tried to comfort.
"This is all Ash's fault. He shouldn't have let us on board with it." Lambert sobbed. Danny rolled his eyes at the dramatics, while his ears caught the sound of a struggle coming from a few halls away.
His attention caught, he drifted away and came to a scene. The science officer was trying to kill the warrent officer. Danny recognized the man as one of the scientists that tried horrible experiments on him. His eyes flared and started glowing with suppressed anger. He purposely flew over to the dining table and flipped it over, creating a loud crash that drew the last crew members to them.
The dark skinned man imediatly took the fire extinguisher and began beating Ash with it, letting Ripley get her breath after being nearly strangled. As the man beat the scientist, a milky white substance left its body like blood would, until witha shot to its head the android disconnected.
The three crew members released sighs of relief.
"You alright Ripley?" Parker panted. The woman nodded.
"Why did he do that?" Lambert wanted to know.
"Lets ask him." Ripley rasped. They removed the androids head so that he couldn't access his body and they carefully reconnected his servors.
"Ash. Can you hear me?" Ripley questioned. When she got no answer she hit the table, causing the head to jolt and look at her.
"CAAN YOU HEAR ME ASH!" She roared.
"Yes. I can hear you."
"Why did you try to kill me?"
"You wanted to get rid of the alien organism."
Lambert and Parker exchanged a glance, while Ripley drew closer to the android.
"Why is it so important?"
"It is the perfect organism. More intelligent then apes. It rivals that of human intelligence. With its acidic blood, no one would be willing to injure it. It has no thoughts of mercy, no weaknesses. It would have helped science progress."
"What does that mean?" Lambert whimpered.
"It means that we are expendable, as long as the creature remains alive." Ripley replied quielty.
Lambert's face paled more even as Parker ordered, "Shit. Shut him down Ripley."
"Wait." Ash stated.
"What?" Ripley sneered.
"I can't lie to you about your chances, but i can tell you your screwed." Ripley smashed the androids head in angrily, though that didn't get rid of the smug smirk the android kept on his face.
Danny moved from the corner he had moved to to watch to flow through the floor and start making his way back to the storage room.
'If they plan on blowing the ship with Sliver and i still on it, they have another thing coming.' He mused, Sliver following behind like a loyal dog.
