Years passed from when the Nostromo had been blown to pieces by Ripley. In that time, colonists arrived on the planet, unaware of the dangers below the surface. Deep below, several creatures were staring to stir. A low rasping hiss had Danny lunging to his feet, ecto-blast ready to be fired. It took his brain a moment to clear after being asleep for so long. He looked around the cavern he was in, noticing that the small creature he had fallen asleep next to was missing. something scraped on the ground behind him and he whirled around, coming face to face with a creature ten times larger than Sliver.
The creature had a large crest that flared up and out, creating a puffed up affect. lager spines curved down the creatures back and tail, coming to a sharp and wicked point at the tip of the tail. it had no eyes, but Danny got the feeling it was watching him. It lowered its head and nudged him gently with its nose, nearly knocking him off his feet.
He let out a chuckle and pat its nose gently, murmering softly to it. The creature let out a rasping purr and curled around him protectively. The creature had an odd glow about it that reminded Danny of a ghost, though his ghost sense didn't appear. Other creatures were beginning to stir and surrounded Danny and the larger creature in curiosity. Sliver wrapped around the ghost boy protectively, snarling quietly at the others. They were smaller in size, but no less dangerous. they resembled the queen, but none of them had the ghostly appearance. screams reached his ears and he looked around the cavern. It had changed drastically from when he had first entered. The area was now covered in thick black tar that clung to the walls, even as what appeared to be slime dripped from the ceiling.
Eggs were placed close to the walls where people were being held by the tar holding them in place. Even as he watched, one of the eggs opened, and a Face Hugger launched out. It's tail wrapped around it's victims throat as it attached itself to their face, the embryo laying tongue slipping down the throat. Danny watched mesmerized, able to see the throat bulge as it was deposited past the esophagus. Another human was screaming and crying, begging the creatures to show mercy and let them go, only for another Face Hugger to attach itself.
Sliver nudged Danny, taking his attention from the walls. Danny walked towards an opening in the cavern wall, only to be blocked by the queen. She chirped at him and wrapped around him again, not wanting him to leave her side. He chuckled, patting her side and phased through her, intent on leaving and exploring more. As she went to protest, Sliver nudged her gently and she huffed, allowing them both to leave the nest. The two of them raced each other through the tunnels, until they reached a hole leading upwards. Danny floated up, Sliver crawling up the wall beside him.
They came up in a maintenance hatch and Danny turned invisible, not wanting to be seen by anyone. Sliver remained behind as he continued onwards. Many of the creatures were wandering around, searching for more prey to bring back to the nest. He pat a few that he went past, but ultimately left them to their own devices, feeling no sympathy to his old species. They had left him for dead, so he did the same to them. He would feel no remorse for them.
The humans that hid were soon captured or killed, each one being brought back to the nest under the odd building. Danny phased through the walls until he reached the outside, where he was immediately buffeted by the harsh weather. He laughed in glee, loving the feeling of the wind and the cold air that surrounded him, his ice core protecting him from the chill. Danny swooped through the air for a while, getting a lay of the land. It was a harsh planet, large outcroppings of stone and rock creating large pillars that dotted the landscape. Old buildings that the humans had built were still standing, despite the harsh weather that threatened to demolish each one.
A low humming reached his ears and he turned to the largest building in curiosity. It was larger than any of the others, and he recognized it as a docking chamber for ships from space. A grin appeared on his face as he flew inside. An old ship needing repair was nestled further within, sheltered from the raging storms. He knew that there was an easy escape if he could fix it incase something went wrong on the planet. After exploring more, he felt exhaustion creep upon him and he decided to return to the nest to rest. He flew back the way he came, unaware of the ship of marines that was swiftly making its way to the planet.

Ripley was unhappy about returning to the cursed planet that took the lives of her old crew mates, but knew that she had to at lest try to protect the marines she was traveling with. They had no respect for her, but she wouldn't let that stop her from trying to make them understand the dangers of the creature she had faced before. She was traveling to hopefully save the colonists that Weyland-Yutani had sent to the planet to terraform it. She had little hope that anyone was still alive, but she would try her best to make sure that the survivors did just that, survive.
