Morning came all to soon to the crew of the Nostromo. They all meandered into the sitting area and watied around for Dallas to appear.
"You all might want to come and take a look." Ash stated over the intercom. They all shared a look and headed towards the med lab. There they found a flumoxed Dallas and a semi confused Ash. They all noticed the creature free Kane as he waved at them all. "How are you feeling Kane?" Ash questioned, checking his vitals.
"Starving." Came the chuckled reply.Everyone gave out happy sighs of relief and Brett and Parker escorted their hungry crew mate to the sitting room, Lambert following happily, leaving Ash, Ripley, and Dallas behind.
"So where did it go?" Dallas wondered, looking around carefully.
"Well, i left the med bay locked, ,so it must still be in here somewhere." Ash replied, opening a cabinet close to the floor. Ripley went to the far corner of the room, and let out a shriek as something landed on her head. Dallas charged over, grabbed the creature and flung it into the wall, keeping Ripley behind him in an act of chivalry."Its alright. It can't hurt you. Its dead." Ash stated calmly, gently picking up the creature by its long tail. Dallas and Ripley drew closer as he placed it on the operating table.
"Why did it release Kane?" Ripley murmmered.
"My guess would be that it was approaching the end of its life cycle and removed itself." Dallas replied.Ash shook his head.
"It came from an egg and attached itself to Kane's face, only to die a day later? Something here does not make sense."
Ripley eyed the creature, then turned and left the med bay to go see Kane, Ash and Dallas following her. They all sat around the table, watching as Kane shoveled food down his throat as fast as he could.
"Slow down man, you don't want to choke." Parker chuckled. Everyone laughed until Kane went deathly pale and began to make an odd choking noise. Every one began to panic, before Ash made them force him onto hhis back on the table to hold him still so that he could clear the blocked passage ways.
Before they coul do anymore than restrain Kane, he spat up blood as his chest began to push outwards, a red stain spreading through his white shirt. Kane was gasping for air, tears in his eyes. He knew he would not live past this experiance, but was glad he spent his last few moments with the crew.
His eyes dimmed and his world went dark forever as a creature tore through his chest abd disappeared into another part of the ship. Shocked and horrified silence filled the room, before Lambert started to panic.
"What the Hell was that thing?!" She shouted histerically. no one had an answer for her.
"We need to find where it went and send it into space." Ripley stated quietly.
"I can rig a tracking system based on movement." Parker replied, not allowing his eyes to remain on the bloody corpse of his crew mate."Alright. Ripley, help Ash prepare the body and send it out of the airlock. Brett, Parker, get to work on that tracking device. Lambert, start callculating a way back to Earth. I will go see what Mother has to say." Dallas commanded, and everyone dispersed, none of them speaking a word.

Danny woke to an odd sound of hissing, and he slowly opened his eyes. He was leaning against the wall and had the perfect view of the small room. A small black creature tumbled out of the air duct and let out a screech. He studied the creature from its smooth head to ridged back and to the scythe like tail. It opened its mouth and he saw the smaller looking jaws inside it as well. The small creature advanced towards the prone figure, only to jump back in alarm when he stretched."Well i have no clue what you are, but you are kinda cute." Danny cooed, moving slightly towards the small being. It let out a hiss and swung its tail, knicking Danny's left arm as he flinched backwards, revealing his neon green blood to the small animal. It froze, then leaned closer, comparing his blood to its own.
It took a few tottering steps to the halfa, before curling up on his lap like a large cat, believing Danny to be a part of its hive, regardless of how he looked.
Danny pet its smooth head, before returning his gaze to the air duct.
"I wonder where you came from." Danny mused, falling into a slight doze, still not fully recovered from his time with the Guys in White.
