The small shuttle called The Narcissus was being prepped for takeoff from the large ship. Dallas, Kane, and Lambert were going to be the ones to check out where the signal was coming from, leaving Ripley, Ash, Parker, and Brett on the Nostromo to watch over their progress.

As the small shuttle descended towards the unknown planet, Ripley decidede to see if she could make out the signal clearer. As she did so, she left Ash in charge of watching the other team's progress from the cameras on their space helmets.

Dallas, Lambert, and Kane exited the small shuttle and began the treacherous trek across the rugged terrain.  As they made their way through the foggy gloom, a large object began to take shape the closer they got to it. It was an odd space ship, that seemingly crashed years ago.

A hole appeared through the gloom, and with a short conversation, they entered the ship. Ash watched the monitor quietly from where he sat, while Ripley continued to listen to the signal. It was as the crew entered the main cabin of the ship that Ripley realized that the signal was not an S.O.S like originally thought. It was a warning to stay away from the planet.

Ripley approached Ash and the monitor and watched the other team explored.
"They need to get back to the ship Ash, its a warning signal not a call for help." She stated.
"By the looks of that ship, it has been here for a very long time. Maybe the threat has long since passed." Ash replied, not seeming to be worrie for the others.

"Hey guys, are you seeing this?" Lambert questioned, panning her helmet so that Ash and Ripley could see the decayed corpse of the pilot of the strange ship. Its rib bones were pushed outwards, as if something had exploded from within.

It was then that Kane noticed another entry way and he led the other two into another room. He nearly fell down a hole in the floor, before he caught himself. He shone a light down into the depths, revealing an odd looking floor.

"Lets go see what's down there." He stated. Dallas and Lambert agreed and they rappeled down the dark hole, and landed on an odd floor.  Mist drifted around strange oval objects that littered the floor down a small set of stairs.

Kane took a step forwards, and tripped, landing down amongst the objects. As he watched, the top opened and he peered closer, trying to see what was inside, only for something to leap out and wrap its odd appendages around his helmet, breaking the glass and attaching itself to his face.

Dallas and Lambert panicked, and grabbed their comrade and began the long journey back to the shuttle as fast as they could. As they made their way to the Nostromo, they tried to board the ship, but Ripley would not let them back on board.

"Ripley! let us in!" Dallas shouted.
"I'm sorry but i can't do that. We have to wait until the decontamination has taken place!" Ripley replied.
"If you don't let us in Kane could die!" Lambert shouted angrily. Ripley still refused to open the door, only for Ash to open it instead.

"Ash!" Ripley shouted angrily.
"I'm sorry Ripley, but if i can help i will." He stated calmly, ignoring the angry huffing she was doing. As the other two dragged Kane through the doors, Ash led the way to the med lab.

"Lay him on the table and let me have a look at him." Ash ordered. Dallas and Lambert layed the unmoving form of their friend onto the table and took a few steps back to give Ash room to manouver. Ripley watched through the labs windows with Brett and Parker, before curiosty made her move closer.

Ash took out his cutting torch and carefully began to cut off the helmet, revealing the creature on Kanes face. It was a tan color with eight legs like a spider, two large breathing sacks on the side of its body, and a long tail that was wrapped around Kane's throat.
"Can you try to move the legs?" Dallas questioned quietly. Ash grabbed a pair or tongs and tried to remove one of the arms from his patients head, only to notice that the tail tightened around his neck in warning.

"Is there another way to remove it from him?" Dallas wondered. Grabbing the cutting torch, Ash gently pulled on a leg, and made the smallest cut on the leg, only for a hissing noise to erupt, and the creatures blood started to eat through the floor, and threatens to eat through the hull, so Dallas, Brett, Parker, and Ripley move as fast as they can to find where the odd blood is dripping through.

They found it slowing down several levels into the bowels of the ship and Parker handed Dallas his ballpoint pen, where the blood began eating away at the eraser. They made their way back to the med lab and left Kane on the table with the creature on his face. The other crew members all met up at the dining table and sat around it.

"Is Kane going to be all right?" Lambert asked Ash.
"All of his body systems are functioning normally. it seems as though the creature is feeding him air through a tube in his throat, so maybe it needs a symbiotic relationship to remain alive, taking the carbon dioxide he is expeling. As far as i can tell Kane seems to be in perffect health." He replied.
"I cannot remove the creature from Kane, as shown by the tightening of the tail and the acidic blood."

"Maybe we should freeze him and when we get to our destination use a better lab to help him." Lambert suggested, gaining approval from everyone but Dallas and Ash.

"This is a new organism, and as such, it is up to the science division on what we do." Dallas stated, turning to look at his science officer.
"Well, I believe that we should leave Kane in the med lab overnight to monitor him. If nvothing changes, we will freeze him and wait until we get to our destination to remove the organism." Ash stated.

"Alright, now that that's out of the way, Brett, Parker, go see if the blood damaged anything important on the ship and if so start fixing it. Everone else, go get some rest." Dallas ordered. The other crew members exluding Ash exchanged looks before seperating into different directions.

Meanwhile, a very disoriented white haired male looked around disoriented in the gloom of a dark room, confused as to where he was. A light appeared off to his left and he turned, glowing green eyes widening in shock, awe, and a little bit of horror, for out the small window, he could see nothing but the blackness of a large planet, with a sun making it look loike a large silouhett.

'I always wanted to be an astronaut, but this isnt how i imagined i would get to space.' He thought quietly to himself, transfixed with the view.
"Now to figure out where i am exactly." He muttered, turning invisible and floating up through the ceiling, leaving nothing but the now empty cryochamber behind.
