I know Nikki likes Brantley, its obvious. I also know that she's denying her feelings. I can't stand to watch her just sit here and play with her milkshake and food, I need to speak up.
"I know you like him." I state leaning over the booth
"I don't like anyone." Nikki mumbles
"Stop denying it, you like Brantley." I whisper
Nikki looks at me with tears in her eyes.
"You have no idea what it's like right now." Nikki mumbles
"Try me." I say moving to sit next to her
"I've liked him since highschool and he's only ever seen me as a little sister." Nikki whimpers
"And seeing him go out on dates hurts you." I finish for her
Nikki nods her head at me
"You need to tell him." I say wrapping an arm around her
"Can we go home now?" Nikki asks me
"Yes, we can." I say helping her up
