Fallen Love

(Y/n) POV

I was in my parents house, making some warm soup for my dad, who was sick. When I first heard I came immediately because I knew mom had to go to work but someone needed to take care of dad so of course I came to do just that. He didn't have anything too bad, just a fever but he needed to rest.

Once I finished the soup and made sure it tasted good I put some in bowl and took it to my parents bedroom, where my dad laid on the bed. He smiled at me and I returned it with my own smile before helping him sit up and gave him the soup.

"Thank you (Y/n)" my dad said.
"Your welcome papa, hope the soup is good" I said back.
"Its impossible for your meals to not be good" he told me making my smile grow bigger.

Once he was done with the soup I took the bowl and let him sleep. As he slept I tried my best to do the chores of the house quietly, I didn't want to wake him up. I mopped the floor,cleaned the dishes, did the laundry, took out the trash etc. I wanted to do as much of the house work as I could so my mom wouldn't have to, she'd be tired from work and she deserved some rest.

Once dad woke up again I vacuumed the house before putting some more soup for my dad which seemed to help him. At about 5 o'clock in the afternoon mom came back and the first thing she did was give me a kiss on the forehead as a greeting and tell me how much she missed me. I helped her to her stuff away and did some more of the chores with her before I left.

Once I went back to my own home I changed my clothes and flew to the Overworld to hang out with my best friends, Steve and Alex. I love hanging out with them because everything becomes more fun and funny when I'm with them.

It didn't take long for me to reach their place and I was not surprised at all to see Alex chasing Steve around so she could get her dairy back. I shook my head with a chuckle and snatched the dairy when Steve passed by me. I gave it back to Alex who thanked me as Steve pouted but he stopped when he was hit by Alex. With another giggle I hid my wings and halo before we started planning on what we will be doing.
We agreed on going to the mall before going to get dinner at Chuck E Cheese. So they got what they needed before we ran to the mall because we like racing each other, I slowed down tho near the end so I came last because I wanted them to win, its better seeing them smile instead of winning a race but they noticed of course.

"Come on (Y/n), you can't keep letting us win all the time" Alex said.
"But I think it's better to see you smile instead of winning a small race" I said.
"Yeah but we also wanna see you smile for winning as on a race" Alex whined and I sighed.
"Alright, I won't do it next time" she smiled happily that I agreed and we walked around the mall.

We didn't really buy anything, Steve got some of his staff fixed, Alex got herself a new bow and some fire arrows while I looked around till I layed eyes on a pretty dress that looked like it had butterfly wings on it.

Alex and Steve saw my eyeing it and grinned at each other before nodding. I saw them walk in the store and pick up the dress which confused me since Alex wasn't into that stuff and Steve didn't have a girlfriend. When they bought it and came back outside to me they gave it to me.

"We saw you eyeing it and we had to get it for you" Steve said.
"Guys you didn't have to" I said
"You did so much for us so it's only fair if we got it for you" Alex said.

I gave them a hug that they returned and I put the dress in a bag that I always bring with me. It was getting a bit dark so we thought it was a good time to go to Chuck E Cheese and get dinner.

We ordered our food and sat down to eat but I noticed that there was a birthday happening at one of the party rooms but two kids were pushing and screaming at each other while their moms tried to get them to stop. I couldn't just sit there and watch so I walked over to them and got their attention.

"Hey hey, what's the problem here?" I asked.
"He's trying to steal my tokens!" The birthday girl whined.
"She has way more and I want to play!" The boy whined as well.

I sighed to opened my hand for their tokens. They hesitated but they gave them to me and I held them in my fist while making my other hand turn into a fist as well. I blew on them and secretly used my powers to split the tokens in half so when I opened my hands and gave them their tokens they both got an equal amount. They looked stunned and big smiles appeared on their faces.

"Wow! How did you do that?!" They both asked.
"That's my little secret but I want you to understand that jealousy and stealing won't get you anywhere and sharing is best. Your good actions will always by rewarded in the future" I told them and I could see the moms smile at me as a way to say thank you. I gave smiled back at them and the kids nodded understanding and thanked me before going to play together.

I went back to my friends who were already smiling.

"You did it again angel girl" Steve said.
"I couldn't just let them fight and scream at each other" I said back.
"We know and we're very lucky to call you our best friend" Alex said.

We ate our food and talked a bit more before they went home and I flew back to the Aether. As I was flying there I passed by the bridge that separated the Aether and the Nether and saw something weird.

It was a rose. Its petals faded from white to red but that's not what weirded me out. It was the fact that it was in between the two worlds, half of it on Aether's side while the other half was on Nether's side.

I didn't want a demon to see it and destroy it so I walked over and went to grab it but the second I touched it I felt a small electric shock go threw me making me yelp and step away from the rose. Too freaked out to do anything else I quickly flew back home and tried to forget about it.
