He had a few lies
Objects so benign
A soul full of life
A spirit so powerfulHe followed his heart one night
More white than red
A mask shielded his eyes
A sign of the impending death
As he staked his claim
Fog grew around his life
And he let it fade awaySmile as bright as the moon
Dance for a thousand suns
Let his tears evaporate
Let the heat take place
Let the sky dim
As the voices collide
Let the world die
From the spirits, not benign, anymoreSecond home, peace may he find
Knives stab him so he stabs another
One sharp crack makes the pain shatter
He's human too, you know
But the people tell him there's little to go to
Demons possess his eyes
Sky blue orbs of disguiseHe says, "What's there to change?
This is my life, my destiny.
This is who I am and who I will forever be.
The trials of time have made me, and that's okay."
There come his lies
What else can he hide? One poisonous thought is enough
For him to realize why nothing ever worked
One calling, and now he's falling
But there's no brighter smile in the roomWill he ever find out who he is?
Behind the sticky fibers of his web
The flanges threaten to eat him alive
From his mind he cannot hide
Adults are supposed to know it all
But what he knows, he can't handle
And what he conceals will be revealedAnd when he dies, they'll realize
The man they hated couldn't breathe
So one thought is all it takes
One powerful fist to the face
For him to topple, no one stops itWhat's life, anyway?
