I finally finished packing, then moving to London, I've been feeling sick for a while, honestly I've been feeling sick sense I was still in Bradford, before Niall broke up with me, I'm pretending to be okay, I've gotten good at that over the span of my life.
I've been in London, the sickness is only coming in the morning, I made a friend named, Joshua, he's nice, he works the same place I do, well, not exactly, he is a drummer for Synco, I'm an accountant for there, I graduated four years of college in high- school, there's an up side to knowing what I want to do when I'm older.
"Zayn, you in here?" I hear Josh say when he came over, "No, I'm not in my flat, I'm at a club." I said, then me getting sick -luckily- I was already in the bathroom.
"Zayn, I ain't kidding, why don't you go to the doctor, come on you've been sick for the week you've been in London, and something tells me you were sick before you moved here." Josh said in his Southern accent from America that he is trying to pull off, it isn't real, "Josh I swear I'm fine." I said, getting sick again, "That's it, your going to the doctor." Joshua told me, "No, I don't wanna, don't you can't make me." I said, "I'm nearly twice your size, I think I could easily pick you up, and carry you where ever we need to go." He said sassily, "Fine, only because I don't want to be picked up." I said, Josh laughed, "That's all you got from what I just told you? Really?" Joshua asked, "Hey, I need to go make an appointment, it isn't safe to be sick without going to the doctors." I said, "eff you Zayn." He mumbled, "Really, 'eef' you can't say the actual word." I asked, "You may be pregnant, I don't want to swear in front of potential kids. There was that one guy on that one talk show thingy, he was pregnant." Joshua said, "That was a fake arse dude. Men can't get pregnant." I said, "Your right, good thing your you, a thing some where between man and teen, your a meen, no tan, dang it, both the possible names are taken for something else, I'll go with tan, you know because, your skin is a kind of tan color." Josh said.
"I'm going to call the doctors." I said, "Wait, wait, wait, wait!" Joshua screamed, "What?" I asked, "Let me call." He whines, "Why?" I ask, "So that way when your pregnant, you don't sound like a total hooker for not knowing who the father is." I glare at him, "I know who the father is- I mean who he would be... that's not the point." I said, Joshua started laughing, "Fine, you make the call." I say, "Yay." Josh screams, "Act your age." I said, Josh stuck his tongue out at me.
An hour later I'm at the doctor's office, hating everything, doctor offices are creepy, I can't be the only one that thinks that.
"Hello Mr. Malik." The doctor said, "Eh, what's up Doc?" I say like Bugs Bunny, force of habit from when I was younger, the doctor laughs "That is the first time I heard that, surprisingly." He said, "Okay, what seems to be the problem?" He asks, "I've been getting sick in the mornings, gone by mid afternoon, but I have no fever, or anything like that." I told him, "Hmm, that's interesting, if you were a girl I'd suggest pregnancy, considering your not, sense your new in town, is there any way that you'll be able to tell me your old doctor's phone number?" He asked, "Sure its 103-456-7892." I said, "Okay, I'll be right back." The doc said.
About ten minutes later he comes back in, "Mr. Malik did you know you are special?" The doctor said, "What do you mean?" I ask, "You have Pregnancy Sai, which is Latin for Male Pregnancy, actually there is only one other male recorded who can become pregnant, the one guy on the telly." The doctor said, "Okay." I said in shock, "Would you like someone to do an ultrasound to be sure?" he asks, I nod my hear yes.
"Oh my." said the doctor who was giving me the ultrasound, "What?" I ask, instanly scared, "Quadruplets." he said, "What?" I ask, now I was freaked out, "Your having quadruplets." he said, "Okay." I said, he printed off pictures, and I left.
"Are you going to die?" Joshua asked jokingly, "Yep I have a day left to live." I said, "Okay, now whats wrong." He asked, "You were right. I'm pregnant with quadruplets." I said, getting a glass and filling it up with water, "What the heck, can I be the God Father?" He asked, "That's what your worried about, I don't make enough money." I said, "I have an idea." Joshua said, waving his hand in the air like a toddler, "Yes? And if you say abortion, I might agree." I said the later part quieter, "No, no abortion, your going to call your dad, and your going to handle this like a pregnant man." He said, I started to laugh, "Two things, never call my dad, he's a horrid father, that's why I don't want to be a father, and there are now two men in the world that can get pregnant, should I call the other one and invite him for tea to ask how to handle this like a man?" I said.
"Not a bad idea." Joshua said, "Yes it is, he lives in America." I said, "So call your mom, she's been pregnant before." he told me.
"Was your idea to call my parents?" I asked, "No, it was, I move in, sense your flat is bigger, we be flat mate, split the rent half and half, when the babies come, you simply find a daycare for them, or start a home daycare, but I think you should at lease call one of your sisters." He said, "Finally, you have a good idea. I'll call my mom."
"Mom." I said 'bout twenty minutes later "Hi Zayn, heard you moved to London. How you liking it?" My mom asked, "Its great mom, hey do you know what Pregnancy Sai is?" I asked, "All I know is you have it. Oh and it makes it so males can get pregnant" She said, "Well how would you like to be a grandma?" I asked, she started shrieking yes, "You don't hate me?" I asked, "No, can I live with you when they are born, I'll be free child care." She said, "Mom, what about Waliyha and Safaa?" I ask, "Fine, but I am coming and visiting, oh who's the father?" She asked in one breath.
"Niall." I said, "Oh, you too will make wonderful dads." She said, "Mom, Niall broke up with me." I told her, "Oh, I can't wait to meet the little rascal." Mom said, trying to keep the mood happy, "Little rascals." I corrected her, "Twins. Waliyha I'm talking to Zayn." She said, the last part not into the microphone of the phone, "No, quadruplets, that's four right?" I asked, "Ek, that is four, yay, I'm glad I'm going to have so many grand-kids." Mom said, "I'm praying that Waliyha and Safaa are lesbian, or else your going to go crazy with all the grand-kids." I said.
"Your so funny. Anyway Zayn, you need to tell Niall, he deserves to know he's going to be a dad." my mom told me, "I know, but how am I suppose to get into contact with him, he deleted my number off his phone, and then changed his number." I say, "Zayn, I know you know how to find someone." mom said, "I also know how to stay hidden, I don't want to rope Niall into this, he's so young, and he's trying to become famous, I don't want to ruin his life." I said, "Fine, can I at lease tell Maura, her and I have been friends before Niall and you were born." mom said, "Fine, I don't care if she tells Greg, but again I don't want to rope Niall in this." I said, "Okay, I have to. Safaa don't put that in your mouth." mom said, "Mom, you and I both know that Safaa doesn't put anything she's not suppose to in her mouth." I said, "Unlike you." my mom muttered, "Love you too." I said sarcastically, with that she hung up.
"So, are you getting kicked out?" Joshua asked, "I moved out, they can't kick me out." I said, "Well no, but they can never talk to you again." He said, "My sisters love me too much, they wouldn't let my mom go without talking to me." I said, "What about your dad?" Josh questioned, "He use to hit my sisters and I, that's part of the reason why my parents got a divorce." I say, "Ah. Well, I gotta go help out, new bands, X- Factor, and all that shit." Josh said, "Okay, Mr. Devine." I said, pissing off Josh is so much fun, "Piss off, no one calls me that, not even my dad who thinks I'm a disgrace, he calls me Joshua Divine, it sucks going back home to him." Josh said, I laughed, "Get to work." I said, "Okay, don't die." Josh said to me, "When do you want to move in?" I asked.
"I don't know, when works for you?" Josh asked, "Whenever you want, I have the luxury of getting to work at home if I want to." I said, Josh stuck his tongue out at me, again, I stuck mine out at him, "Childish." we said at the same time.
"Don't you have a job or something to get to?" I ask, "See ya, again, don't die." he told me, "I'll try not to." I tell him.
