Start All Over Again

Jiselle's POV:

Last night has got to be the worst thing I have ever encountered with a guy! The next morning, I called off of work and now find myself laying on my couch, watching a movie in my pajamas. I was so embarrassed and humiliated that just the slightest thought about last night made me gag.

All of a sudden, my doorbell rang. I made no effort to get up and answer it but it rang again. I slowly got up from the couch and walked to my front door. I opened the door and saw Liam.

"Hi." He mumbled. "May I come in for a second."

"Sure," I said as I walked away from the door while Liam walked in.

He shut the door behind him and we walked into the common area of my penthouse.

"Jiselle, I am so sorry about last night." Liam apologized. "I didn't mean to do that and I can't tell you how sorry I am."

"It's my fault for agreeing to go out with you again," I admitted. "Why can't you just leave me alone?"

I turned away from Liam. For some odd reason, I was so angry at this moment.

"Gosh, I don't like you!" I shouted. "You have a baby mama who is ten years older than you and your ex is a fricken nineteen-year-old. Not only that but you and Cheryl came up with the greatest name for your son." I said sarcastically.

I turned back around to look at Liam. He was looking down at the ground. We both fell silent. I didn't know what to say and neither did he.

"You are absolutely right." Liam began. "I've dated several women and they all don't work out but when I saw you, I thought that maybe I could break that chain. Jiselle, I like you but if you want nothing to do with me then I will leave you alone."

I remained silent.

"I guess I have my answer then," Liam said as she started walking to the door.

Something came over me to where I found myself following after Liam. He was outside in the hallway when I caught up to him. I grabbed his arm, forcing him to turn around before crashing my lips onto his. I put my hand on the back of his neck while I pushed him back to the wall. Liam didn't start kissing back but he eventually caught on and I found our lips moving in sync with each other. His tongue made its way into my mouth a few times and our lips only separated when we absolutely needed air.

After a few minutes went by, I pulled away from Liam

After a few minutes went by, I pulled away from Liam. He looked at me like a sick puppy dog. I began walking backward until I was back in my penthouse, then I shut my door.

"What the hell just happened?" I asked myself.

I lifted my fingertips to my lips. I could still taste Liam and just thinking about what happened sent chills up and down my spine.
