Liam's POV:

After Lyndsey told me what was going on with Jiselle, I immediately flew back out to Manhattan to clear things up with her. I rushed over to her penthouse and made up an excuse to have the maintenance man open the door. Once I was inside, I was greeted by Topolino. He was jumping up and down and barked with excitement.

"Topolino," Jiselle called. "What are you barking at?"

Jiselle came out of a bedroom, where I saw her dressed in black pants, a grey sweater, and a black bralette. When she saw me, her smile fell off her face. She grabbed the railing and leaned against the railing while she looked down at Topolino and me.

"I'd be lying if I said Topolino didn't miss you

"I'd be lying if I said Topolino didn't miss you." Jiselle began.

"Well, I missed him and one other person in particular," I replied as I referred to Jiselle.

She rolled her eyes and asked, "What the fuck are you doing here, Liam? Did you really think coming here after what you said would fix everything you said to me?"

I sighed and glanced down at the ground. I looked around the penthouse, as I tried to collect my thoughts.

"You're right, it doesn't but we need to fix things between us."

"I beg your pardon?" Jiselle snapped.

"Lyndsey told me everything," I uttered. "Jiselle, are you really pregnant."

Jiselle's eyes were full of tears as she tried her best to prevent the tears from falling down her cheeks. I slowly walked up the stairs and stopped at the top, so that I could be closer to her yet still give Jiselle her space.

"What do you want me to say, Liam?" Jiselle inquired. "Am I supposed to say how happy I am to be your baby mama? Or perhaps you want me to tell you how much I love you even though you treated me like shit the other day."

I looked down at the ground with guilt. I hate what I did to Jiselle. It meant nothing and was clearly said out of anger.

"Jiselle, I can't tell you how sorry I am," I expressed. "Everything that happened that night was done out of anger. It meant nothing and I hate myself for how I hurt you. I hope you can find it in ya to forgive me."

I took steps closer to her. I reached for her hand and she didn't pull away. I played with her hand before leaning down and giving her a quick kiss on the hand as I whispered, "I love you."

Jiselle fell silent. She eventually squeezed my hand before standing up and turning toward me. He grabbed my leather jacket and looked me in the eyes as she cried, "I lost the baby, Liam."

"What?"

Jiselle looked down at the ground. She couldn't look me in the eyes as she repeated, "I lost the baby."

I kneeled down on the ground while I looked up so I could see her face

I kneeled down on the ground while I looked up so I could see her face.

"You had a miscarriage?"

Jiselle nodded her head. I shot back up to my feet so I could wrap my arms around Jiselle and pull her close. I held her tight and gently rocked her back and forth. I can't imagine what she must be going through right now.

"It's not your fault, Jiselle." I moralized. "These things just happen sometimes. I should have been there for you. I'm so sorry."
