"You neglected to mention this as a thee party" Jeremy snaps out of his thoughts and looks up from the punch bowl seeing Anna there. He tenses slightly.
"What are you doing here?" Jeremy asks her.
"Well, seeing as you also neglected to invite me, I took matters into my own hands" Anna says smiling sweetly with a small shrug.
"You're doing that thing again" Jeremy says.
"What thing would that be?" Anna asks steeping closer to him.
"That thing where you pretend we're dating, even though we're not" Jeremy tells him. "Look, I've got a boyfriend."
"That tall handsome guy from the Grill?" Anna asks. "Where is he?" She asks looking around. Jeremy's face falls slightly. "Look, I just want to be friends. Come on, I've never been to a school dance before. Humor me" She smiles at him.
"There's plenty of high schoolers around here that will be more than happy to show you a good time, pick one" Anna spins around coming face to chest with Christian. She slowly looks up and he glares at her.
"I'll be seeing you around, Jeremy" Anna says before walking away.
"Thanks" Jeremy mutters not meeting Christian's eyes. Christian sighs and slowly moves closer to him. He had to admit, it did feel good hearing Jeremy call him his boyfriend. He wasn't completely sure if Jeremy still wanted to be together.
"I'm sorry" Christian says walking up to him. "I shouldn't have acted like I did"
"Stefan explained it" Jeremy said. Christian frowns his eyebrows.
"He did?" He asks and Jeremy shrugs.
"A little bit, just what he knows" Christian nods slowly. "I'd like it if you explained what happened" Jeremy says. Christian sighs heavily. "You don't have to tell me everything at once... but I want to understand."
"I want you to understand that I will never hurt you or act like that towards you again." Christian promises. "I want this to work, I want us to work and I think we're doing a good job... excluding my behavior earlier" Christian smiles at him slightly.
"I think we're working too" Jeremy says nodding. "I want this to continue working but I need to know I can trust you"
"I know and you can, I slipped up-"
"And if you do it again I could get hurt, really badly" Christian winces slightly. Jeremy sighs and grabs Christian's tie. Christian smirks as Jeremy pulls him towards him. Christian caresses Jeremy's cheek before pressing his lips on Jeremy's.
"If I lose your trust completely, if I hurt you, then I want you to get as far from me as possible" Christian whispers to him. Jeremy slowly nods. "I'm not worth risking your life over" Christian tells him before backing away. "You look good in my clothes" Christian grins.
