Abigail's POV
Any girl would have loved being escorted by two strong attractive men in uniforms down a hallway but if you knew where that hallway was, you wouldn't be as jealous.
Australia's top prison; the Australian Correction Facility.
As I was dragged past the cells I heard several comments that made me laugh.
"A girl?"
"What is she doing here?"
"Is this legal?"
"She like 14!"
The last one really made me laugh out loud. "I'm 18 actually!!" I yelled over my shoulder laughing but was just shoved harder.
"And she's American!" Was the last thing I heard before the door slammed shut behind us.
I was still laughing when I was roughly shoved into a chair. "Dang dude chillax!! Be a little gentle!" I laughed kicking my feet up on the table.
"Well then be a little more polite," said a guard sliding my feet off the table. I put my hands up in surrender, well as much as I could with the handcuffs. I fixed by green uniform tank top which was awkwardly riding up. Why I had a tank top and no one else did, I have no idea but I didn't care. If they want to check me out, let them.
The room fell silent. We just looked-more like glared- at each other. While he had a glare stuck on his face, I had a bright smile.
Man, was I enjoying this!!
"Miss Stewart," the good cop started. "You know why you are here, correct?"
"Yesh shir," I said with a fake lisp.
"Miss Stewart....." He warned.
"Mr. Good Cop," I warned right back.
He let out a frustrated sigh. "Abigail, you need to understand that this is a very serious situation. You need to stop acting like an immature kid, Abigail."
Being called a kid just pissed me off. I could handle being called immature but if you call me a kid, you better have an ambulance standing by. "If I'm a kid, then why am I in the most heavily guarded prison in all of Australia?!"
"Because you personally attacked the Prime Ministers son!!!" He shot back. I smirked as Mr. Good Cop turned into Señor Bad Cop so quickly.
"Touché." There was an awkward silence while Señor Bad Cop went away and Mr. Good Cop came back.
"Here's what's going to happen, you are going to have a cell all to yourself," he began.
"Sweet!" I interrupted, nodding. He gave me your typical "you know better" look but I just laughed it off.
"Orrrr until another woman gets emitted then you will have a roommate!" My face didn't change. He cleared his throat before continuing. "Despite the fact that you're a female, you will not be given an special treatment."
"Good. I don't want any." I smiled sweetly. It was his turn for his face not to change.
"Since you are not from here, we technically aren't allowed to do anything to you. But your government can't petition us to get you out because you did commit a crime against the Australian government. And since you committed a crime against Australia, we can do whatever we would like to you." He smiled evilly. Welcome back, Señor Bad Cop.
"True, but you don't really want to start World War Three by abusing a poor defenseless American Kid now do you?" I shot the word back. "Because I'm pretty sure that no country would side with another country for abusing a minor that doesn't live in that country. Plus a poor girl in a foreign country who has plenty of rape stories would win the hearts of many people across the world." His eyes widened for a second before he regained his composure. I knew that at that moment, he understood just what I was implying.
"Well," he stood up. "Let's give you a tour of your new home."
"Temporary home," I shrugged standing up slowly. I heard him chuckle. Suddenly I was slammed against the wall. Señor Bad Cop has pinned me against the wall.
"You really think you'll ever be able to leave here?! Check again, sweetheart!! Everyone in Australia believes you are a terrorist. The day you leave this place is the day you get murdered on the way to the airport."
"And that is the day that World War Three starts!" I didn't hesitate to get right back in his face. He gave me one last shove against the wall before leaving the room. I followed behind him knowing that I had won this little battle. The first battle of World War Three.
So new story!!! Please please please tell me what you think!! Vote, comment, share. All that good stuff.
