Abigail's POV

As I walked through the door, I was bombarded my questions.

"Guys!" I yelled. The questions stopped.

"Everything is fine. I'm okay." I assured them.

"What happened in there Cheif?" Bones asked.

We walked over to a table and I started to explain everything.

"I should probably start off with what Bones and AJ already know." I looked between the two of them as they nodded in encouragement. "I didn't jump Mark, boys. He jumped me." I continued to retell them the story. I then explained what happened with my visitor and Blain.

"Wait, Blain knows?" Bones whispered.

"Yep," AJ and I said at the same time.

"You knew!" This time Bones, Gold, Duke and I said this at the same time. AJ cowered down.

"Actually almost all of the guards know. Except Markoutski and a few others that work in the infirmary."

"Wait, all guards know. That means......... They aren't really scared of me." I said not hiding my disappointment.

"Don't worry Chief. At least the prisoners don't know." I nodded in agreement to Gold.

"Well..." My eyes widened. "Only like three or four know." I put my head in my hands in defeat.

"I'm a fake. First, I don't do what people think I'm here for. Next, the guards aren't even afraid of me. And now the prisoners know!"

"Chief, calm down. I was kidding about the prisoners. The four that know are the three you told and the one that's here to break you out." We all looked at AJ in disbelief. He just chuckled. "Just wanted to see what you would say!"

Groaning in anger, I walked over to him and smacked him in the back of the head. Hard.

"Ow!" He whined.

The other boys chuckled as I walked away. "It really hurt," he mumbled.

"Well that's what you get for trying to play a joke on the Chief." Bones chuckled.

"So, what's the plan Chief?" Gold asked.

"Well......" Nothing. I had absolutely no idea what to do.

"I honestly have no idea." I said slowly. "We can't really do anything from in here."

Well shit.

"That's why there is a group outside these walls looking at your case." AJ said.

"They aren't going to find anything." I said putting my head in my hands.

"You don't know that Cheif." Bones sad rubbing my back.

"Oh but I do. I had the best lawyer my father's money could buy and well......" I gestured around me. "You see how well that worked." i stood up and walked away.

"Abigail, come on. Stop pacing and just relax." AJ said catching up to me.

"I'm sorry." My statement caught him off guard.

"What?"

"I'm sorry my dad got you involved in all this."

"Abigail..."

I cut him off. "I'm sorry that he got you to get put in jail. I'm sorry that he manipulated you into helping him. I'm sorry that it was all for nothing. I'm sorry that you are in jail because of me. You are in jail for someone you don't even know. I mean did you even know my name? Or what I looked like?"

"I did actually. Your dad showed me a picture of you." This made me stop pacing. He slowly walked up to me and grabbed me by the shoulders.

"You should've seen how worried he was about you. You should've heard how he talked about getting you out. Your father is worried sick about you Abby. He is getting every pair of professional eyes he can to look at your case. And my job is to protect you no matter what until your court case. I promised your dad and now I'm going to promise you. I promise I will protect you from every meat head here. Even Markouwski and that asshole Mark. I will protect you until we get out of here. I know for a fact that Bones, Duke and Gold will help me protect you. Abigail, I know you are scared. This is a tough situation. I promise you are going to be okay."

I reached up and lightly touched his cheek. "Thank you."
