Abigail's POV

"You are useless."

"No one likes you."

"I don't have time to take care of you."

"I never wanted to be a father."

"I don't need a family."

"I don't want a daughter."

"I don't want you. Never have. Never will."

"Your dad sent me."

I woke up in a cold sweat. I went over to my sink and washed my face. I looked at my reflection to see my tough girl melting away. Leaving behind and scared insecure little girl. The tears flowed freely down my face.

"Abigail?" I was startled as my name was whispered. I glanced over my shoulder to see a mirror reflecting into my cell.

"If you watch me while I change I will shove that mirror up your ass." I warned.

AJ laughed. "Are you alright?" His voice changed.

"What do you think?" I scoffed. "Here I am, in jail, and my dad sends someone to "protect me"! If he wanted to protect me all he had to do was bail me out." I said the next part softer. "He cares more about his money than his own daughter."

"That's not true, Abigail. You have no idea the amount of money he is spending to get you out of here."

"What are you talking about?!" I whisper yelled. I walked towards him and grabbed his mirror from his hand to shine on his face. "All he had to do was pay the bail. What could he possibly be doing to help me?"

"He is paying people to prove your innocence." He paused waiting for me to say something but I just sat there in silence. Shocked. "If he bailed you out, you would be known as a sex offender but if he proves your innocence you'll be shown as the poor girl who was almost raped by the Prime Minister of Australia's son."

"See, your dad isn't as big of a jerk as you think he is."

I scoffed. "Woopie-freaking-do! Let's give him an award then! The "not as big of a jackass as you could've been" award!" I sighed, "You don't know who he is. He's just trying to make up for the past 18 years of telling me I was a mistake. And not a good one." I shoved the mirror back to him before turning around and walking back to my bed. I laid down thinking over what AJ told me.

"If your dad thinks you are a bad mistake, he has his priorities mixed up." I sat up to see the mirror retracting and the thump of footsteps.

I scoffed. "You have no idea." I whispered almost inaudible.

I didn't sleep. I tossed and turned thinking about what AJ told me.

Could my dad really be trying to get me out? None of this made sense!

A flashlight shined in my cell. "I'm still here, Blain!"

"Why are you still up?" He stopped. I sighed before standing up and walking towards him.

"Too much on my mind I guess." I almost told him but he's the head guard, he wouldn't believe me.

"What's on your mind? You know, if you keep things bottled in sooner of later the bottle will overflow."

I laughed. "Blain, I'm in prison thousands of miles from home. I really doubt I could get worse."

He chuckled. "I meant if you need someone to talk to, I'm your guy. If you need anything, and I mean anything, I'm your guy."

"Tampons?" I held back laughter.

He stepped away from the cell like it had burned him with his hands up. "No guy should have to get those." I chuckled.

"Thanks Blain." He nodded before starting to walk away.

"Wait!" He turned back. "Umm... I'm not sure if you can do this but ummm is there anyway you can not open my cell tomorrow?" I picked at my fingernails, too scared to look up and see judgment in his eyes.

"I'll see what I can do," he winked. I laughed as he walked away.

Maybe he does have a soft spot for me....

The next morning.

Bones' POV

I woke up to hear Gold and Duke arguing.

"Will you two shut......" I stopped. "Chief?" I looked to see an empty cell.

"Bones?" Gold questioned.

"What's wrong?" Asked Duke.

The cell gates screeched open. I didn't even wait for the door to completely open. Which wasn't allowed.

"Bones! Don't move until the gate is open!!" Blain yelled at me.

"Where is Chief?!?" I yelled. Everyone looked taken back.

"Where the hell is she!!!" I yelled.

"Calm down Bones! She's fine. I took her to the infirmary this morning."

"Infirmary?? Is she okay?" AJ walked out of his cell.

"She's fine. She wasn't feeling very well so I took her there just incase."

"What did the doc say?" Duke asked.

"Well, she almost fainted on the way there but she is fine. The doc is going to make sure that she gets enough food, water, and sleep over the next couple of days." He said.

"She fainted?!" I freaked.

"Make sure she gets enough food, water, and sleep?? What do you mean?" AJ asked.

"Well," he paused. "Sometimes people have so much going on they forget to eat or they don't get enough sleep which causes them to faint." We all nodded. "Did you notice her not eating?" He asked me.

"No...... I.... I didn't." I said ashamed.

"No one did, Bones. But don't worry. She is going to be just fine."

"Can I see her?"

It took him awhile before he answered. "No. I'm sorry guys but Doc doesn't want anyone to see her. Doc and I are the only people allowed to see her. And I can't even see her unless I'm bringing her food."

"Why not?!?" Duke asked, clenching his fist.

"She needs rest guys. She's going to be fine." He assured. We all followed Blain to the cafeteria, no one saying anything.
