I don't think I've fully expressed how much I truly hate gym class. There are always certain groups of people in gym. The try hards, the people who don't do anything, and the people who try but aren't very good. I fall somewhere in the category of the people who try but aren't good. I was walking beside Kyle to gym which I was dreading. Kyle however was just laughing and picking on me for complaining.

"I mean what am I ever gonna use dodge ball for in my life?! Nothing! Don't even think of giving me one of those crappy what if situations."

I continued to grumble under my breath even when my team was winning. I wasn't throwing any balls I was just kind of dodging and trying not to get hit. Kyle was on the other team and was killing everyone. I guess Kyle was a try hard but you wouldn't really expect it. He had taken off his glasses and if it was possible he looked even better. My team ended up winning after I actually tried and got Kyle out.

Next was flying with Mr. hot shot himself as the teacher. Jay was once again in this class with me but I didn't really expect him to do anything in this class but check out Scott. Our whole class was waiting for Scott to arrive. Seriously who is late for their own class?

Everyone had their dragon out and saddled up except me. Not only was Scott not here but neither was Jade. I sighed trying to call out to her again from my mind. I knew she was close but she didn't to come out of the woods. It took me awhile to realize that maybe she was scared. She was after all the only pure white dragon. It wouldn't not surprise me if she didn't want to be judged. It could also just be the fact my dragon just didn't trust people in general.

Listen Jade I know you're scared but no one is going to hurt you. I won't let any of them judge you from the way you look. You're the most beautiful dragon I've ever seen. If you don't come then you've allowed them to win. Be proud of how extraordinary you truly are. There is only one you and there will only ever be one you.

She then grumbled in my mind something that sounded like "I'm not a pansy," but I couldn't be sure. She slowly appeared out of the woods and everyone was in awe. Jade held her head high knowing she was the center of attention. When she faced me I rolled my eyes jokingly and she just snorted. My dragon was indeed a show off but I wouldn't have it any other way.

It was almost like the air head knew when everyone was ready because after I saddled Jade he decided to show up. All the girls and yes including Jay swooned as he walked outside. "Well class you know what to do just fly up and finish the obstacle course I have a new sudent to teach so if you need any help please wait."

He then walked over to Jade and I making sure to check me out on the way over. I felt a voice echo in my head. "Pig." I snorted at Jade's remark and held back a smile. When he finally arrived he put on his sinature smirk and looked at me. "Are you ready princess to learn how to fly?"

He didn't wait for an answer to lift me up on to Jade's back. Quickly following me he grabbed on to Jade's saddle and hoisted himself up right behind me. Jade was almost as happy as I was when he wrapped his arms around my waist. Through our connection Jade was yelling all kinds of colorful words at Scott.

I wasn't even listening to him while he was whispering in my ear. I personally was concentrating more on not to barf. Did he do this with all of his new students? Was he just treating me like any other girl?

I was about to turn around and push Scott off when a very angry looking Kyle came up to us. "Scott what are you doing? Erika is clearly uncomfortable and Jade looks ready to eat you. Did you even ask Jade if she was okay with you hopping on her?" Kyle helped me down and held on to my hand while telling Scott off.

I wasn't listening to what was going on because I was more focused on his hand holding mine. My hand in his felt right. Scott eventually stormed off and Kyle helped me back on Jade. After asking Jade for permission Kyle hopped on behind me.

That day he taught me how to fly. No it wasn't the fact I was in the sky on the back of my dragon. It was the fact that with his arms wrapped around my waist I felt like I could fly.
