When school was over I was the first one out of the door. One of the reasons I want to be a dragon rider is because you get to go to Dragon Rider/ Elemental school. How awesome is that?! As I made my way out of the school a hand grabbed my upper arm. I turned around only to see a big bulky man in a uniform. He gripped my arm tighter and pulled me away. I didn't scream or panic because I knew these guys are the ones who pick the dragon riders. At first he was shocked I didn't put up a fight like the rest do, but he blew it off fast. He pulled me out of the school and shoved me in a black tinted car. At this point I had to remind myself not to panic. I buckled up and waited for the man to get in the car. He quickly got in and started the car. I wasn't stupid enough to try and open the door because he obviously had the child lock on.

To keep myself from freaking out I pulled out my sketch book and continued my drawing of a dragon. For some reason I knew deep down that I was drawing my dragon. I had the drawing shaded and put every detail I could think of in the sketch. The only problem is I had no idea what color to use to color it. This very small thing was really bothering me. There are tons of colors that dragons could be, and they all were a bright and radiant color, never black or white. Every time I picked up a color pencil to color it I would stop myself before I had a chance to do it. This time wasn't any different from the rest. I put my sketch book up just as we reached our destination. Dragon Rider/ Elemental school.

It was a huge old castle, you could even see vines growing around it. Behind the school you could see sparks of fire and dragons flying around. To think one of them was my own dragon. He stopped the car and hopped out coming to my side of the car. When he opened the door for me my smile widened. I felt like I belonged here at this school. The man led me to two huge metal doors that had to be at least 15 feet thick. You could never be too sure I guess. He sent a signal up to a women who nodded down at us. Suddenly a painful screeching noise of the doors opening hit my ears.

When they opened I was surprised to see what looked like the whole school waiting for me. All their eyes were on me as I followed carefully behind the huge man. I could feel their gazes scanning me, judging me. When we made it to the end of the hall I turned around. "Why don't you mind your own business!" My voice echoed around the castle as it fell silent. I smirked but before I carried on I flicked them off. I could tell the yet to be named man was trying hard not to laugh. I think it's safe to say I've made the best first impression I could ever make. Note the sarcasm.

I guess I already knew where we were headed, the principle's office. Before I could walk in the man stopped me. "Stay," he ordered giving me a stern look. "Can I at least know your name?" I asked timidly. A smile spread across his face, "Jack." Jack went into the room shutting the door behind him. Curiosity got the best of me as I put my ear to the door.

"Could it be her? You know if it is her dragon won't be here. There's no telling where it could be. Legend says that she will find her dragon and her dragon will find her but how long is that going to take?! We can't wait long it's too close to her 18th birthday even if it is in a year. We need more time. God please help us, we are desperate."

"Calm down Ruby they'll find each other in time. Scott will train her in hand to hand combat before dragon ridding so she'll be safer. God gave us her, we'll be fine. I know it's her I can just feel it deep down. We've found her, our savior. We will live, I promise you that."

I pulled back when I heard footsteps coming towards the door. My heart was pumping really fast, it's beat an unsteady rhythm. Jack opened the door and motioned for me to go inside. I pushed past him only to hear the door slam behind me. I looked ahead to find a small, fragile, old women. Tiny glasses were placed on her nose. As she smiled all the wrinkles on her face lifted up. No matter her appearance I knew she could cause some damage. She wasn't principle of a Elemental/ Dragon Rider school for nothing. "I see you don't see me as your average old women," her wise voice spoke. Suddenly wind whipped through her hair, water curled around her, all the while a ring of fire formed at her feet.

She stopped her elements to talk to me. "The only reason I was chosen to be principle was because I was the closest they could find to the Elemental Rider herself. After me Scott the dragon rider teacher will take over for me. He has water, air, and earth as his elements." When she finished talking I started to wish I had an element. I'm bound to have at least one but I haven't found it out yet. Having three would be cool though, or even two.

Her old gray eyes scanned my forest green eyes. "You are special my dear you just haven't found out how yet." Before I could make a comment to her statement she gave me my schedule and motioned me out of her office. Great I just got out of school only to go back into it.
