Being The Different Fan

It's today.
Today is the day.
Today is the day I take a step closer to being with chris.

Right now I'm outside the university with my things and I'm waiting for kady to come pick me up.
I texted her to ask where she is and she replied I'm here.
I looked up from my phone and sure enough there was her car parked in front of me. She got down and ran to me pulling me into a big bear hug.
"Oh my God Carrie I can't believe you're really here I missed you so much"
"I missed you too kady but can you let me go now I can't breath"
"Oh sorry" she let me go and I took a deep breath "let's go"
She took my bag and we put it in her trunk.
We got in the car and started driving through the school grounds and I took out my phone to take pictures.
  "I forgot you were a photo addict"
"Um who isn't?"
We both laughed before she pulled up I'm front of a building that looked like an administrative building.
"Okay you get all your stuffs done while I go drop your things at our apartment then come back to get you"
"Sure"
I went in as kady drove off I got all the formalities done in about 30 minutes and was giving my schedule.
I came outside expecting to see kady but she isn't here yet so I text her that I'm done so she can come pick me up.
In the mean time I go to a truck that sells milkshakes to buy a strawberry milkshake which is my absolute favourite.
I take a seat and wait for kady to come pick me up. I wonder what's taking so long I just scroll through Instagram as I wait.
Some guy walks up to me but I don't glance up. He says in a friendly voice "you know you're sitting at my usual place".
His voice sounds familiar for some reason but I can't place it. I still don't look up when I answer sarcastically "oh am I now?".
"Yup it seems like it".
  I finally look at him and I almost faint because standing right there is Chris and he's smiling at me.
"Oh my God Chris"
"Oh you know me... that's cool" he sits down next to me and I can feel the warmth coming from him "well you also seem familiar do I know you from somewhere"
"Yeah...yeah, I didn't think you'd remember but we met once at a park"
"Oh of course I remember" he hits his head playfully as recognition sets in "you are the pretty Carrie"
"You remembered my name" I tuck a loose strand behind my ear and smiled shyly.
"I never forget beautiful people" he takes a sip of his milkshake and I quickly do the same "so what are you doing here? do you school here now?"
"Yeah I just started today"
"Well that's great I really hope to see you around more often".
Just then I see Kady's car pull up and I get up.
"I have to go but it was a pleasure meeting you again"
"Bye"
I walk quickly towards the car and get in before letting out a loud squeal.
"Was that Chris?" Kady asked smiling at me.
"Yes yes yes... it was him... it was chris"
"Damn you go girl...I want the details now"
I giggle a little.

Chris'POV,
I watched her walk away and I couldn't help but laugh.
I've seen them all.
Every type of fan.
All of them in love with chrisxfallie never trying to get to know Christopher, me.
I got up and started walking back to my car.
I got a text from Dexter saying he's ordering pizza for dinner and asking of I want some.
I didn't understand cause it was just 4:30 and he's already talking about dinner but then Dexter had always been a foodie.
I remember once on my tenth birthday Dexter stole a slice of cake before my mom brought it out of the house and his entire mouth was covered with chocolate icing so he couldn't even deny and he tried to shake the blame saying my mom shouldn't have put it in the refrigerator where the cake could call out to him.
The memory just got me laughing as I texted him that I do want pizza.
I drove straight to the apartment but I stopped to buy a video game.
And when I got back Dexter was almost through with the whole box of pizza.
"Hey! Aren't you gonna save any for me"
He answered with his mouth still full "I'm sorry bro I really tried not to eat it all but it kept calling to me".
I grabbed the last slice and sat in front of the TV "whatever bro but next time I won't give you any of mine"
"As you please"
"So is there anything interesting about this apartment building?" I ask cause so far the place seemed pretty boring.
"I wouldn't really say interesting but there's this really pretty girl living down the hall but she's really shy"
He smiled when he talked about her I could tell he likes her.
"Oh god Dexter you like her, don't you?"
"Just a little I'm not even sure"
"Whatever you should invite her to our party next week"
"You think she'll come"
"Sure she will and if you chicken out I'll do it for you"
"You would do that for me?"
"Sure I'm your wing man remember"
"Thanks bro by the way tammy was here today"
A loud groan escaped my mouth when I heard the name of my bitch of an ex-girlfriend "what'd she want?"
"She didn't say but she said to tell you she has been calling you but you keep ignoring her"
Me and tammy dated for a year but we had a messy breakup after she cheated on me but I don't think she got the message that I don't ever want to see her again cause she keeps texting and calling me "I've been pushing her away since the breakup but she keeps coming back" I stood up to go get a drink "I don't think she's getting the message"
"Yeah she's obviously hooked on you" he changes his voice to a high pitch trying to imitate Tammy's shrill voice "oh Chrissy baby I'm so sorry please take me back I promise I'll be good I just miss you so much and I miss those lovely lips baby...
He was making kissing noises and touching me "ha ha ha very funny" I say sarcastically before pushing him off of me playfully "I'm going to my room now"
"No babe don't leave me please Chris nooooo"
I slam the door on his face and I hear him laugh and I can't help but laugh too.
I sink into my bed and unlock my phone and notice that I have eight missed calls and four voice messages from tammy all of which I ignore.
I scroll through Instagram for a while before I get bored and I went to take a shower.
