BEING NICE

Carrie's pov,

"You did what?!!" Kady yelled at me.

"Shush keep your voice down"

"Do not tell me to keep my voice down you just told a complete stranger he could stay here as long as he likes without asking me first?" She had her arms folded as we spoke in hushed voices in my room.

"Okay firstly he's not a complete stranger he's reeko secondly he'll just stay here until he gets back in his feet"

"Which is when 1 week, a month, a year?" She was waving her arms around like a mad woman as she paced the room "I mean for all we know he could be a serial rapist who has never been caught or worse"

She stopped and grabbed my shoulders shaking me violently "what were you thinking?"

"Would you just calm down already" I brushed her hands away "you are over reacting"

"Fine I'm over reacting but if anything bad happens it's on you" she pointed at me and huffed before slamming my bedroom door shut.

I also heard her slam her door shut which means she had retired for the night.

I sighed.

I really hope she's not angry at me. She'll get over it right?.

I grabbed the extra sheets and headed for the living room.

Reeko was perched awkwardly at the arm of the couch.

"Here you go" I handed him the sheets "the couch extends into a bed so that is more convenient for you"

"I can't thank you enough for this" he was looking at me with his one good eye his face was covered in cuts and bruises.

I did my best to help him dress his wounds but there is only so much a marketing student can do.

"No problem it's okay" I shrugged and turned to leave.

"I heard you and kady fighting I'm sorry about that" he avoided my eyes as I turned around to look at him.

"It's not your fault, kady just needs a bit of time to calm down" I gave him a smile to ease his guilt "call me if you need anything"

He nodded and I headed back to my room to get some much needed rest.

I had to wake up kind of early cause of my early morning classes.

I grabbed my towel and toothbrush and headed into the bathroom.

I put on some music just to set the mood and started brushing my teeth in front of the mirror.

Lean with me by juice wrld was playing and I was in the zone.

I was about to take off my clothes and step in the shower when the door opened.

I expected it to be kady so I didn't even turn to look but when I heard a male scream I remembered our new roommate.

I screamed when I realized I already took my shorts off.
