| 3RD PERSON POV |

"V," Jin shouts, exapareted. He had called for his brother about 10 times now, but either he was purposely ignoring him, or V was just that far gone into his thoughts. Which was something that he did often. Tutting, Jin spreads his wings wide, smoothening out the pearl white feathers before taking off and landing beside him.

Even then, V seemed unaware of his presence.

"Yah! V!" Jin clasps his hands onto V's shoulder's. The younger angel jumps at the contact, the glazed look disapperating from his eyes the second he made contact with Jin.

"W-what?" V mumbles. "Hyung?"

Jin rolls his eyes and slaps V's shoulder lightly. "Done zoning out yet? I called you so many times."

V shoots him a boxy smile, rubbing his neck sheepishly. "Sorry, I was thinking."

Jin returns the smile. "As usual, eh? What was it about this time?"

The smile fades from V's face, as he turns away from his hyung, turning to look forward. "The human I've been put in charge of. I can't get him off my mind."

Jin notices the troubled look on his brother's face, starting to feel a little worried himself. He knew journey's to earth were quite tiring, even for an angel. It was his brother's first time, naturally, it wouldn't be easiest. But most angels, upon returning to heaven, regained their strength and joy pretty soon.

It had already been a couple days since his last visit, but the brightness wasn't returning back to V yet. And though he would never admit, Jin was getting worried.

"What's wrong? Got too attached already?" Jin says jokingly, but keeps a careful eye on V's face.

"No, no, not that," He murmurs, hugging his knees to his chest, wings folded and pressing into his back. "I don't understand him. He's so young, surely he can't have done anything wrong? And I couldn't pick up any evil vibes from him either..." V sighs.

Jin takes his hands off the younger's shoulders and walks to sit next to him. "Sometimes, it's not our job to guide those who have sinned," He explains, staring out at the other messenger angels, who were scattered about, flying to deliver important messages. "It's our job to guide humans onto the right paths, not necessarily only to those who have done wrong."

"But that's the thing," He stresses, "I don't really understand my case. Nor the reason I'm given this problematic mess of a case. Why can't I get a simple job like delivering kittens to heaven?" V whines, watching as a slender female angel that has just flown back deliver a new litter of kittens.

Jin chuckles at his brother. "Hmm, well, everything is done for a purpose. You're assigned to... Jungwoo for a reason."

"Jungkook." V corrects immediately.

"Ah right, Jungkook." Jin smirks before suddenly stiffening. "I have to go now, take care of yourself ah, V, don't worry so much." And before V could say anything else in reply, Jin takes off again, soon disappearing into the mass of angels.

V sighs again, this time louder than before. Now that he had a mission, he no longer had many heavenly duties and had received basically none, while his brother worked like a mule. But though Jin was much more experienced than him, V had been given this case.

Which was what confused V most.

Angels weren't really supposed to visit earth unless they were called for, but V figured he could twist around that rule. He wanted to check up on his human. Just to make sure he was okay. Or at least that was what he told himself.
