RoshniAnd within two days of the letter leaving my table there was another letter back again. Shutting me off the thoughts that hurt me I sat to read. Restlessness made me tear open the glue.
She was indeed an amazing writer...but more than that she was open to a guy talking to her. Thinking about her mindset, adored my face with a wide smile. She was not a behenji as told. And her name, Naina was so beautiful. A sudden urge to meet her and look into her eyes arose...her name might be Naina for her ‘Naina’. She even opened up about her family....she did not mention about her parents...it was a surprise. Maine Pyaar Kiya was my favourite film and she wrote about it. Unknowingly both of us had used the leads names in our letters, I had randomly taken Prem as my name. Curiously I grabbed a paper and began scribbling.
Letter bohot accha laga. Aur Maine Pyaar Kiya dekha toh Bhagyashree ka chehra dekhne laga...jaise tum hi Bhagyashree ho. Iqtefaq se maine Prem likh diya aur shayad tumne bhi Suman likha hoga. Aur dono hero heroine nikle. Dosti ka usool kudh bhool gayi madam aap, kudh sorry thank you bolne lagi. Waise toh lagta nahi hai ki tum behenji ho...tum toh anjaan ladke ko kath bej rahi ho aur ghar walo se chupakar...himath toh hai tumme. Aur mere ghar mein mere Nanu hai joh mere mummy papa sab kuch hai. Mein bhi VJN mein padta hu par college kabhi kabhi hi aata hu toh pata nahi hoga tumhe. Kabhi hua toh mil lenge. Kya bolti ho?
Aur bye
Prem
I wrote out my heart in words. Happy with the outcome of the letter and my attempt to ask her to meet, I ran out to post the letter. A unknown happiness clouded me.
