I received a letter out of nowhere. A letter that never ever in my life came even once. It was one of my first of firsts. As I sat on my table glancing through the letter, a feeling of home arose. The person had a beautiful handwriting and a good sense of poetry as well. A letter of four lines and an invite for friendship was really inviting.
Loneliness made me accept the letter with an open heart, it was a ‘she.’ For a person who stayed away from girls this was something surprising. I decided to go ahead and reply.

Three lines and a letter might seem weird but that’s all I could put into the post. I had assumed a pen name as well....thinking how she had found my address, I dropped the letter into the post box.
I returned anticipating a reply very soon. But at the back of mind there was a fear that this was going end....maybe because I have never had friends and what if she realises that I was of the opposite sex.
