The sun was setting and I couldn't take my eyes off the view. The sky looked like a rainbow just melted all over it and I was in awe. I rested my head on the window sill that was right beside my bed and just took in nature's masterpiece. All I could think about was my little sister, Abby. She and I would never fail to catch the sunset everyday. 10 minutes before the sunset, we would rush up to the rooftop of our farm house with our popcorn and cameras, and then spend hours taking pictures and talking about boys.

"Oh Abby, please be safe." I whispered.

The sound of the door knob being turned snapped me out of my reverie and I immediately moved away from the window. Fuck I forgot to lock it. The door slowly creaked open and Leo's head peeped in. For a second there I was happy to see him, not really sure why though. But then I remembered what happened a few hours ago and my anger slowly resurface.

"Hi." he said in a soft voice.

"What do you want?"

"I brought dinner." He opened the door fully and pulled a plate of 'what the fuck is that' from behind him.

"I'm not hungry."

"You haven't eaten the whole day."

"Why do you care?"

There was a silence between us. I thought he was about to walk out of the room but instead, he walked towards me. He sat down on the bed and placed the plate in front of me.

"I tried to make an omelette. I ate it too and I'm still alive so, it can't be that bad."

I stared down at the plate and it honestly looked like solidified vomit.

"What is in this?"

"Garlic, onions, pepper." he closed his eyes and tried recalling the rest of the ingrediants. I have to admit, at that moment, he looked really adorable. But whatever, his face didn't make up for what he said to me.

"And uh green chili and tomatoes. I think."

The omelette looked really unpleasant but it smelled kinda good and I was bloody famished. He handed me a fork.

"I said Im not hungry."

"Well you suck at lying."

He sighed. "Fine, if you eat, I'll tell you why I was upset. And, I'll apologise for being an asshole."

"Good that you know you're an asshole."

He rolled his eyes. "So, you're gonna eat or what?"

I grabbed the fork from his hand. He lied down on the bed and propped his head up with his elbow.

He took a deep breath in. "I was upset because-take a bite."

"What?"

"Take a bite first and then I'll tell you."

"You take annoying to a whole new level, you know that?"

"So ive been told." He half smiled.

I cut a piece of the omelette and he eyed me warily. Oh dear god, I was having second thoughts about eating. It looked even worse close up.

"Oh common, it's not that bad."

I mentally counted to three and hurriedly took a bite and chewed it, hoping I wouldn't taste it but I was wrong. Actually, I was wrong about everything. He was right, it wasn't that bad at all.

"Not bad for someone who cooks like a blind person."

"Why thank you." He smiled and holy lord how did I not notice he had dimples.
