"Arden."

"Oh god we're dead oh dear god we're fucking dead."

"Arden, open your eyes."

"Im sorry Abby, im so fucking sorry."

"Arden!" He shook me and my eyes flew open.

I frantically looked around and oh god, ive never been happier to see the trailor again. The second my eyes came in contact with Leo's face, I threw my head back and laughed in relief.

"We're alive! Thank you God!" I gave a flying kiss upwards with both my hands.

He laughed along with me and he visibly relaxed. He leaned his head backwards against the wall and covered his face with his hands.

"God, that was terrifying."

I peeped out from behind the table. The bomb didn't do much damage. But we did feel the ground vibrate quite violently. Unfortunately the coffee table that was beside Leo, gave in. The side of it was chipped and wood stuck out.

"Ladies and gentlemen, the first missile has been terminated."

"Woo!" I howled. Leo joined in and we both howled our lungs out. I felt like I could finally breathe again.

"See? what did I tell you?"

"Fine, fine, you were right." I couldn't stop grinning.

He returned the smile. "Let's get out of here it's stuffy."

He carefully got out from the shelter and I followed him after.

"You alright?" He asked.

I nodded. Oh what the heck. I threw myself onto him and wrapped my hands around his neck

"Hey..." His arms slowly wrapped around me and he brought me closer to him.

"It's alright. We're okay." He whispered. I closed my eyes and buried my face into his shoulder. Just what I needed to hear. His hand gently stroked the back of my head and I felt like the weight of the world was being lifted off my shoulders. I slowly pulled away and my tired eyes met his.

"You should get some sleep." He said. "You look tir-"

"Ladies and gentlemen of ISA04, second bomb incoming, take shelter. I repeat, take shelter."

My eyes shot wide and my smile immediately dropped. I turned pale. He looked as equally terrified.

"No." I breathed. My lips went dry.

"No no no."

"Get back. Quick!" He jogged towards shelter and dragged me with him.

My legs were starting to give in and I struggled to move. I felt like I just got whacked with a hammer from no where. My heart raced within seconds and my breathing hitched. No this can't be happening.

"In five, four."

"Hurry!" he shouted and yanked me back into the shelter by my arm.

The both of us literally dived back into the shelter. Our limbs were just tangled with eachothers. I glanced at Leo and realised that he was just inches away from getting pierced by the wood that stuck out from the coffee table. Fuck.

"Three, two."

"Leo, get out!"

"What?"

"The wood! Get out!" I yelled.

"One."

"Watch out!"

It sounded like a plane crashed front first into the ground a few yards away from our trailor and I screamed at the impact. I covered my head with my arms and squeezed my eyes shut. The trailer got lifted a few meters of the ground and when it fell back down, it sounded like it was being crushed by a car crusher. The windows were shattered, the plates and cups fell of the cabinets and even the cabinets gave in and fell from the walls. It was no different than an earth quake. Things fell from above and crashed onto the table that was sheltering us. I curled my legs upwards and laid there in a fetal position, praying to god to let it be over.
It went on for about a few more seconds until it finally died down. The trailer stopped shaking and the lights flickered. I slowly lifted my head up and the entire area was filled with smoke and dust.
