Chapter-1

Hey!! Just want to let you'll know that the chapters are not completely edited but I have tried my best! This is my first story so the first few chapters are short but trust me it gets better!! Please keep reading and give this book a chance.

The dark woods form a canopy around me, I look around frantic of my current surroundings. I have been running for hours, still there's no site of hope. A howl startles me and sends shivers down my spine. I look back and and see yellow orbs pouncing towards me. Before I could register what's happening I'm thrown to the ground. The monster with yellow orbs is on top of me , looking at me with disgust. He draws his canines close to my neck and I scream.
I wake up with a jolt , sweating profusely. I catch my breath and look around and I'm in my room , the alarm ringing indicating it's 7 in the morning.
I have been getting the same dream since I was a child and I never get to see the end of it. It always ends there. I have tried a hundred times to sleep again and try to remember or start the dream over. I sigh and get out of bed and start getting ready for my school.
After washing up, I pull on a black turtle neck with a beige sweatshirt over it and black skinny jeans. I wear my converse and take my bag and hop down the stairs missing a few. I swear I'm going to break my skull open one day. I go down and see my brother having breakfast alone that means mom and dad had already left for work.
"Hey" I sit beside him and eat my apple.
"Hey" ty says and rolls his eyes.
"Are you still pissed about yesterday?" I ask.
"No why would I be. I let you win" he says dramatically.
"Dude suck it up and admit you suck and your sister is better than you at video games" I laugh and he groans .
Just as I finish my apple I hear honking of a car signalling my bestfriends are here to pick me up.
"Bye loser" I say and kiss his cheek and run outside. I could imagine him making a disgusted face and smile to myself.

Ohh I forgot to introduce myself. I'm Zea Stevens. I'm 17 and a high school senior and back there was my brother Tyler. He's in college but he's here for his vacations.
And right there the three maniacs waving at me through the car window are my bestfriends. Isabella, Cathrine and Claire.
We have known each other since we were in diapers.
"Hey guys" I run to them and hop in the car. "Hey" they say in union.
"Ohh you know what, you're in for a fun ride" Bell gives me an evil smirk and I look at her confused.
"Oh just you wait" Cat says and Claire zooms past the road as if it was the last day on earth.
