Chapter-28

I ran towards Zach's house. The sight in front of me broke my heart. My friends were injured and now were kneeling their hands tied. Zach's wolf was laying down howling in pain. Half of his pack was dead.

Seamus stood there in the middle laughing at the scene in front of him. Jenna was standing beside him , her face blank.

Zach looked at me and his eyes pleaded with mine to run away before he sees me here. Anger,hurt and betrayal coursed through me. Betrayal because jenna set me up. She knew he is here and if she gave me the gems he could easily have it.

I walked closer to the where my friends were with determination to get them out of here.

"Ahh look who is here. How do you like it Zea. Your friends look lovely, don't they?" Seamus asked coming closer

"Let them go" I gritted through my teeth fisting my hands

He laughed as he looked around, "is lil zea upset?"

"Seamus let them go" I barked loosing my patience

"Here you want these right? Take them" I said opening my palm revealing the gems

"Take this and let them go" I said when he didn't answer

"Oh I don't want them now I'm having fun with them" he said snapping his fingers and Ethan's ankle twisted and he cried out in pain

"This Zea can be his neck" Seamus said now walking around me

He snapped his fingers again and three limp bodies of Cathrine, Bel and Adora with Soobin fell near me.

I gasped as tears streamed down my face. As I took a step towards them I heard Claire's cries.

"One more step and they'll be dead" Seamus said giving me an evil smile

The gems started burning the skin of my palm and I bit my lip to stop from screaming.

"Seamus they don't deserve this please let them go" I cried out as the burning increased

"Oh aren't you surprised to see Jenna here?" He asked ignoring my plea

"Ohh kids come I'll tell you a story" he said putting his arm around Jenna

"Jenna and I were in love and we still are, aren't we darling" he asked smiling sweetly at her. Jenna looked conflicted but smiled and nodded.

"She lost her way trying to save the humans and these dogs" he said kicking Zach as he groaned in pain

I was about to take a step when I stopped remembering his words not wanting him to hurt anyone anymore than they already are.

"But she's back again and that's what matters" he said smiling

"Now we will rule over them and have them at our feet just like they already are" he said chuckling

Anger was boiling inside me with each word leaving his mouth. How could jenna do this to us. Forget about me , how could she betray Zach and Adora when they trusted her with their life and looked up to her. I was trembling but not with fear with anger.

"Seamus" I screamed and opened my fist. In that moment I don't know what took over me but everything happened in a blur.

With one swift motion Seamus flew towards the far end and fell down hitting a tree.
