His eyes seem to be fixed to the orange juice in my hand "want some?" I ask "Please P" his throat sounds very dry.

I push the controls to lift the head of the bed up so he is sitting up a little. The blanket falls a little down over his chest but he doesn't seem to mind though.

I open up the orange and put a straw in before holding it to his mouth. He seems to forget about his injured arm and groans in pain. He slurps up the juice and drinks half of it. "Thank you, I feel a little more with it, now" he says.

I smile at him "yes, you were out of it for a bit back there" I tell him. He frowns cutely "I don't think professional people should go around saying the things that they did?" he says causing me to laugh "sorry P' Lance, I didn't mean to laugh.

It was you, that said those things" I tell him.  He blinks then I have to hold my laughter in, as his neck and cheeks turn bright red. "Don't worry about it, it was the pain medication. They've slowed it down now so it shouldn't happen again" I assure him.

"I'm going to take a guess that you're the one that stripped me down to my underwear too?" I look at him and nod "you were covered in sweat" I say offering an explanation. He nods and closes his eyes "thank you" he whispers but I hear him loud and clear.

"Oh! my gosh did I say out loud that your voice made me hard?" he asks snapping his eyes open and looking at me. "I, I can't remember" I stutter not wanting to embarrass him more.

"You're a terrible liar" he tells me and I shrug my shoulders and hide my smile "so I've been told.

You have a bruise on your side so I've put medication on it" I say changing the subject.

"Thank you, I'll owe you a year of meals after all you've done" he says making me grin. "What's that beeping noise?" he asks, I have to listen intently to hear the noise he's talking about.

"I think it's your phone I put it in your bag" I say walking to the closet and taking his noisy phone out.  I see that he has 10 missed calls and a lot of text messages.

"Do you really want to deal with this now?" I ask he shakes his head "can you just turn it off for me" I do just that and put it back in his bag. "I have some food are you hungry?" I ask "more thirsty than hungry" he tells me and I go and get a bottle of water out of the fridge.

Once I have another straw put in it, I hold it up to his lips. He sips some and then leans his head back against the pillows. "How can I feel tired again?" he asks yawning "close your eyes, I'll be here when you wake up" I assure him and put the bed back down.

He is asleep in no time and I get back to my editing.  I heat up some of the food a couple of hours later and the smell wakes Lance "feeling hungry?" I ask "a little" he says and I put the bed back up and pull up the table placing some fruit and a yogurt in front of him.

"I think light is best for now" I tell him and he nods using his right hand to eat. My phone rings and I look at the unknown number but have a feeling on who it might be.

"Sorry I need to take this. I won't be long" I say standing and moving to the door. I move a little away from the closed door standing in the corridor.

"Hello" I answer "where is Lance?" Cody asks "what do you care?" I answer "what's that supposed to mean?" he yells "it means you didn't seem to care when you shoved him so hard that he broke his arm so badly it needs to be operated on. You even left him on the floor" I tell him through clenched teeth.

"What? Where is he?" he yells "somewhere that you will not hurt him again" I say ending the call and shutting down my phone.  I go back in the room and look at Lance.
