Rengoku watched as the two demons fled to the forest. His voice ignored as the girl ran faster. Ignoring his voice to get to safety. Away from him.

A small voice in his mind whisper to him that the sun is rising. That she had stayed, they would have died.

He let’s the kakushis lead him, too focused on the report he will have to make to Oyakata-sama. Those two clearly never had any malicious intent towards him, the girl had even carried him to safety.

Suprising she didn’t attack, as he had been covered in blood.

He had been weak, an easy snack. Right infront of them, but the chosed to leave and fight the uppermoon.

They actually might be different.

"Kyojuorou, can you fill me in on what happened?"He nods, voicing his affirmation at the same time. He speaks of his encounter with the demon boy -- Kamado Tanijro. How the boy had not been hostile, how he had even warned him of the arrival of the uppermoon. Of how the upper moon had reffered to the two as traitors. How the girl, Nezuko had led him to safety before joining her brother in the fight. He also tells how they had fled at the sight of the sun, the boy passed out from a blow to the head, and the girl’s ability to use a breathing technique without a sword.

The father of the corps is silent through his tale, nodding to tell him he is still listening. Although even if he hadn’t he would have still known he was paying attention to his every word. He is soon left alone, to wonder about the siblings.

They might change the world.

Nezuko sat her brother against the wall of the cave, panic in her every move. He will be fine, he can’t die remember?Whispered a tiny voice in her head, but it was drowned out by the other voice screaming.

THERE IS SO MUCH BLOOD! HIS HEAD ISN’T REGENERATING! WHY CAN’T IT GO FASTER?! GO FASTER! HEAL FASTER!

She fumbled through their stuff, looking for the medecin needed. "Hang on, nii-chan." She stuck the syring in his neck, pushing the liquid into his veins. She grabbed his hand, squeezing gently. "Please...wake up...Nii-chan...Open your eyes..."

He will be fine! He is a demon! He will be fine!

She took a moment to properly look at her brother, and watch as he slowly healed.

His brain was reforming, bits of flesh recreating themselves. She could see how his eyes was regenerating. The flesh creeping very slowly to cover the bones, muscles, and flesh. She easily made out the veins on his face.

Hair bloomed after the flesh settled over the white of his skull. Then came his flames pattern. The skin took a turn to a red color, looking as if a very bad sun burn happened. Her brother is soon opening his eyes, looking exetremely tired.

A hand is raised to her cheek, and she realizes how wet it is. "Don’t cry...I will be okay...I just need to rest...smile for me okay...? Ne...zu...ko..."

She catches him in a hug, craddling him to her chest. "Hai...! Tanjiro-nii..."A laugh bubbles out of her, relief flooding her senses. She cries but keeps laughing. Her brother doesn’t even stir in his sleep, and she is glad, afterall he deserves it.

When Tanjiro wakes up, his head is on his sister’s lap, a hand goes through his hair. He feels how cautious she is, avoiding his scalp as much as possible. "How...long have I been sleeping?"

She hums, letting him know she heard. "Three, to four hours now. It doesn’t really matter, the sun is still out. We will be stuck here for a while."

He looks outside, seeking for comfirmation --He doesn’t doubt his sister's word, really doesn’t. But his mind still isn’t at ease with hers only--, and finds it in the form of sunlight blocking their path to the outside world.

He sits up, his energy back but still missing. He feels his sister’s gaze on him as he moves. He leans back against the wall of the cave, grumbling in frustration. "Stupid upper moon...aiming for my head...idiot..."

He turns to his sister, curious. "Are all your wounds healed?"She nods, and shows off her arm. "I was abit burned when I was escaping, but a nap healed it in no time!"He smiled fondly at his sister, patting her head in a show of affection.

They were two siblings. Both previously human, currently demons. They rarely fought, and always loved the other. One may be the sun, but the other was his flare.

They silence of the cave continued, but it was comfortable silence. Followed by the humming of a lullaby their mother would sing to them.

They shared memories, and they loved sharing it.

Akaza landed on the balcony of house, immediately going into bow, not daring to look up. "Greetings master."The little boy infront may appear harmless, but he had witnessed multiple times the shapeshifting abilities of his sire not be fooled.

"Akaza..."The tone was controlled, and cold. The voice sent fear to his spine, and the fire that was still burning under his skin was forgotten. "...you smell of burnt flesh, what happened?"

It wasn’t concern or worry, it was curiosity and ignorance that needed to be satisfied."During my attack on the Hashira, I ran into the traitors."

"Oh?"All the anger in his aura was gone, replaced with suprise and shock.

"They succesfully drove me away, by using a blood demon art that burned demons. They protected the humans, the girl leading the Hashira to safety. After that they refused to surrender, no matter the warnings and threat."

There is silence for a few seconds, before the laugh of the father of demon’s is heard. "Well done, Akaza. You did well." There are footstep, and the sound of a fire roaring. He slightly tenses up, before forcing back calmness.

"You failing the mission brought me more information than I thought. You are dismissed."

He leaves immediately, not willing to test the very first demon’s patience. He gets as far away as he can from the house, leaving for a much safer destination. I owe you this one, is what he thinks, but I will still have you pay.

"You’re much more trouble than I thought you would, Tanjiro, Nezuko."He looks into the fire, anger in his eyes. "I should have killed you on that mountain afterall, but I believe you can be of much more use if alive."

His smiles widen, turning into a grin full of malice."Two years, and you still haven’t fallen into craziness due to the lack of food. You two sure are something else."

He turns to look outside. His gaze calm. "Your blood can be of use, and who knows...."

He smirks to hisself, feeling a sort of glee."...One of you might be the one who gets me to my goal. Of conquering the sun."
