Uzui Tengen was a flamboyant man.

He was a god among insects, the god of festivity. Rare were those he considered worthy of his time.He had three wonderful wives, and had saved many lives.

Demons weren't flamboyant at all, they had to be eradicated. Any demon that harmed a human had to be killed. No matter how lame the human was, they had to be protected.

That rule had been a simple one, a rule impossible to break as demons would always fall to their hunger, and go for the first meal in sight. The demon slaying corps had been going for over centuries, and that proved how much demons couldn't hold themselves back.

Somehow though, that rule had been broken. Not by one -- That would have already been impressive -- but by two demons.

Two demons that acted human, protected humans, and had never eaten a single human.

He had half expected it to be a joke, but it hadn’t. Their leader wasn’t one to joke about this sort of things.

Uzui naturally expected flamboyant looking demons. If not by looks, then by strenght.

The red light district was an area he was already investigating, he had sent his three wonderful wives under cover there. They would have scouted the area for him, and he would have dealt with the threat immediately.

Them missing had caused him a slight panic, and he wasn’t keen on relying on the help of lower ranks.

The two demons heading to the district to eliminate a threat was a wonderful timing.

He sensed them immediately, their presence sticking out in the sea of humans. He wasn’t planning on immediately getting into contact with them, he wanted to see their intentions first.

So he listen on their little conversation, making sure to stay hidden.

"--would immediately realize who we are. We can probably take them one-on-one, the problem is I don’t have a blade like you. The best I can do is burn her until nothing remains, and that -- "

A voice cuts the girl, completing her statement for her. "Could have you pass out from exhaustion. Plus, Gyutaro could probably just get her back if I don’t kill him fast enough. The only option left is a sucide pack, we drag them under the sun with us, but they could flee before we get the chance to do so."

"There is also the people living here. It’s obvious there is going to be collateral damage, how are going to get them to evacuate fast enough. If we do it now, they might slip away, but we can’t do it during the fight. Our hands are going to be full."

There is a few seconds of silence, before he sees the boy stand from where he is crouched near the ledge of the roof. "We’re stuck. To think I thought Hantengu was the most troublesome Uppermoon."

There is a sigh, one of pure exasperation, and confusion. "For now, let’s just split up. I will go take care of dragging Daki and Gyutaro out of their hiding holes. You, go free all the hostages they have. The fight will only truly begin, when the two of them are fighting."

"Right."

Huh? So they are protecting humans. Let’s see how far this goes.

"Nii-chan, what about that Shinobi that person told us about?"

"She should be in the lower brothels too, if you manage to find her, ask her for help."

Huh. Well, thank you for that information.

Nezuko is keenly aware of the fact she is being followed, it’s quite obvious for her hyper-aware state. She is careful, going to the very tip of the ledge before jumping to the other rooftop. She can’t stop, there are too many lives on the line at the moment.
