Back story part 9

"You play too much" you said trying to stifle a laugh. You couldn't tell if he was serious or fucking with you but you assumed he wasn't serious whatsoever.

"Only person playing right now is you" he said to you with a serious face. Your playful demeanor switched, your eyes looking down to avoid his as you sat there. You didn't know what to say to him at the sudden confession.

"And if I liked you back?" You asked him

"Well that's the complicated part. I don't want to date you while I'm doing all this drug shit" he said to you

"Then what do you want exactly?" You asked him in confusion

"I don't know. Maybe we can just...talk?" He said to you

"Sure I guess. I'm okay with talking" you told him with a small smile.

"Maybe a few kisses on the lips and touching" he added playfully. You laughed as your cheeks turned red, your hand smacking his shoulder. It was hard to say no to him if you were truthful to yourself. And who would it hurt? You were young and when you thought about it, you felt like maybe you shouldn't be so serious about relationships.

"Maybe. It depends on how I'm feeling in the moment"

"What about now?" He asked moving closer to you

"Ahem!" The both of you heard. It was swervy who had her arms folded as she eyed you guys. Her attitude annoyed the shit out of you and honestly every time you had to look at her you wanted to punch her face inside out. Regardless though, as long as she kept it respectful you were going to do the same.

"Flojee and Nafla finished cooking, you guys should come eat" she said looking at the two of you with distaste

"We'll talk more later" bloo said with a grin. You grinned back at him, his cute face making you go soft. Was this just lust or did you really want this man? You two always did have a touchy relationship as friends but it never went pass cuddling and innocent touches.

"I know that look" Loopy said with a mischievous grin, you throwing a quick middle finger at him before laughing

"Ay you better stop before I go tell everyone" he said while laughing too

"Oh my god shut up! You don't even know what me and bloo we're talking about" you said

"I'm not dumb, you two like each other" he said nonchalantly

"Yes and while that is true the downside to it is that we're not getting in any type of relationship" you told him

"Ay it's understandable and considering the two of you live with Nafla right now I wouldn't suggest it either. That's trouble just waiting to happen" Loopy said to you

"Yeah I forgot all about him" you said

"Considering he got a thing for you too I already know he'll do something if he finds out so be careful. But anyway congratulations on whatever it is y'all got going on" Loopy said

"Thank you Loopy. Hopefully it actually goes well" you said

"Well for now don't stress about it. Go fill your belly and chill" he said as the two of you walked inside to get some food. You aren't scared of Nafla but you had an unsettling feeling about what he'd do to bloo if he found out the two of you talked. You didn't know what his thought process would be like when he was aware of it.

"Who's that pulling up?" West asked as he looked out the window outside at the unfamiliar car

"That's them. Come on let's go outside we've got important things to discuss" Nafla said to the rest of the boys
