So as y'all are probably aware, I live in a small, conservative town that is basically as accepting of lgbt+ people as you expect.
Well today I went to the big city for an FFA event and saw something I had never seen before... A gender- neutral sign.
Naturally me and my lesbian friend were shocked and surprised, so we immediately sent it to all of our other queer friends who freaked out with us.
An, seemingly, straight friend of ours also made a comment about it. She said "I've never seen that before but it just warms my heart and makes me so happy that the world is changing for the better."
I didn't even know what her view on gender- nonconforming people was, so that made my day.
I know it's simply a sign on a bathroom, but it truly makes me feel like our world is heading in the right direction
