"Welcome to the Mafia"
Wait what?
Jungkook's mind went blank. He wasn't able to process what Jimin had said.
"Mafia?"
"You heard me, Jungkook. There is no way out of here."
"But I never agreed!"
"You signed the contract. It's your fault that you didn't read it. Most people don't, anyway."
"Fuck!", Jungkook yelled as he gripped his hair. "What happens when I leave?"
"You'll be dead, just like the people before you. Traitors aren't allowed but don't worry. I like you, Jungkook. I wouldn't kill you right away."
What the hell was that supposed to mean? "Well, I wouldn't hesitate to kill you, but it would be a pity."
How could Jimin betray him like that?
"I really wish my feelings for you could vanish right now", the younger gritted out angrily, not actually realizing that he just confessed his feelings towards his boss.
Well, Jimin's reaction was a little surprising for the usual unemotional boss. He was not going to lie, the words did sting a bit. "Then why did you like me in the first place?"
"Because I thought you were a sweet, caring guy who owned a large, normal business."
"I'm still sweet and caring. Why would my Mafia make any difference?"
"I don't want to be seen with such disgrace. ", Jungkook's reaction was a little extreme in Jimin's opinion.
"You do know you're talking to a Mafia boss, right? I could kill you any second."
"See? Where's the caring person? It does make you a different person, a disgusting person."
A tear made its way down on Jungkook's cheek. "Why are you crying?"
"I want you to kill me."
"What?", Jimin didn't expect that.
"I said, kill me."
"But why?"
"You really wanna hear it? The Mafia killed my parents and stole their business." you see, his parents were killed by people from a Mafia called "The hood" . The Jeons had a successful business. Too successful, which lead to them getting assassinated. They lost their business and Jungkook had nowhere to go. It made Jungkook wonder if it was Jimin's people who killed his parents. That would be unforgivable.
"What were their names?"
"Jeon Mina and Jeon Jungmin.", Jimin has definitely heard of those names before, but it wasn't his people who killed them. The Jeons had a big business empire and were known to everyone, almost like celebrities.
"I know them. Pretty famous."
"Was it your people who killed them?"
Jimin gasped, offended at his question. "We don't kill people without a reason, Compared to other Mafias, we are rather 'peaceful'. We are known for theft."
It was hard to keep his emotions inside, as the younger was making him angry. First, he said that Jimin was a disgrace. Second, he hurt him, right in the heart. He thought he had finally found someone who could understand him.
"You know what?", Jimin said calmly after a short silence. Jungkook's eyes turned soft when he saw Jimin's broken face. "Just leave. Fucking leave."
"Why did you change your mind?", Jungkook didn't want to complain, but after seeing the hard facade of the older fall, he kind of felt bad for saying things he actually didn't mean.
