"Logan? Logan, are you in there? LOGAN!" Virgil stood there knocking obnoxiously as he yelled out. "Logan? Lo-man. Lo. Lo-train. Lo-brain. Brain man. Calculator watch? Calculus? Pocket protector? DUDE!"

"What Rom-..." The door whipped open to reveal a slightly tired looking Logan with clear confusion on his face and Virgil smiled thinly. "Virgil? What are you doing here?"

"First off... I live here. Second... I have a question for you." Virgil's eyes narrowed with his smile grew a bit catching Logan by surprise. "Thirdly... Were you about to call me Roman?"

"Well, you were being obnoxious and repetitive with those ridiculous names as our dramatic counterpart tends to do... a lot." a quiet and near curt laugh caught Virgil's attention as Logan turned to look back revealing Patton in a fit of 'silent' giggles. Virgil glanced between the two, his mind going a mile a minute as he tried to come to terms with what he was seeing. 

"Wait... What is going on here?" Logan frowned in muted confusion as he shrugged.

"Patton simply wanted to be in here with me." Virgil was stunned. He was frozen in shock as Logan slowly made his way over to his desk.

"AND YOU LET HIM?!" Logan flinched at the sudden volume shooting the anxious one an inquisitive glance as Patton just sat there on the bed with this knowing expression. "I mean... I understand Patton wanting to be with someone. No offense dad but you're clingy... it's understandable though. However... I am surprised you'd be ok with it, Logan."

"Why wouldn't I be?" Logan turned back to his current project and Virgil frowned. "It's just Patton. What harm could he do?"

"Logan... This is me your talking to. I know you. You find social interaction outside of the mental necessity to function as a nuisance and don't want to deal with others... emotions. And for you to be so nonchalant about Patton's presence... Are you feeling ok?"

"I am fine, Virgil. I've simply grown to enjoy his presence. There's nothing wrong with... what?" Virgil was once again in pure silence as his eyes went to Patton. 

"You... enjoy... his presence?" Logan nodded as started to sauter a wire and Virgil laughed softly. "I'm glad you found someone you... enjoy... being with?"

"And you seem to be more emotionally showing." Virgil frowned as he shook his head and sat down on the chair Logan always had in the corner of the room. "Virgil you may not notice but you've laughed, smiled, frowned, and shown shock all whist here with me. You are definitely showing emotion."

"I don't know what you're talking about." Logan sighed as he nodded resigning to just forget it for now. 

"What was that question you were going to ask?" Virgil's eyes lit up as he nodded and threw this bag onto the desk making Logan frown in concern. "Virgil?"

"I wanted to know if you could up the bass." Logan slowly took the bag and pulled out Virgil's black and purple headphones. "I have an idea of what I want it to do. I could give you the run down..."

"These are the ones you brought from the void." Virgil nodded again as he clenched his fists tightly. "You use these all the time? Why would you suddenly..."

"Will you work on them or not?" Logan glanced over with this look making Virgil's heart race in anxiety. "Please, Logan. I don't know anyone else who can."

"What do you need done?" Virgil squealed, although muted and awkwardly, as Logan gave him an odd smirk.

"Thank you so much, Lo. I really appreciate it." Logan simply smiled some more as he pushed his project to the side and sighed. "I need the base boosted behind normal. Like... I needed boosted and then I need it pushed even farther." Logan's brow quirked in confusion but Virgil wasn't done yet. "Then If there's a way to boost vibration that would be tremendous. I can do everything else after. I just need it to vibrate something mad with music."

"You do realize, prolong exposure could be damaging to your ears, Virgil." Virgil smiled as he just shook his head. Logan held his hand out watching the headphones break apart and float around as he started to work things around with his power.

"Trust me it wont be." Hours later Virgil emerged from the room holding his bag tightly to his chest. He was excited. Very excited. He rushed back to his room, slamming and locking the door, properly with magic, and set the headphones on his table with a small but obvious smile. 

He ran around grabbing all these different sorts of things creating a magic circle and placing the headphones inside before sitting down to a long long night of enchantments. Well, a long week of enchanting just to make sure EVERYTHING was perfect.

An entire week Virgil sat there rarely leaving his room unless to eat or drink. He stayed at his desk working through his countless books to find the right spell and even experiencing to create his own. He had a plan. He had a vision he wanted to create and he wasn't going to stop until it was perfect. 

When it finally was he actually beamed. He was so full of pride, joy, and yes love, that he literally shined. His crystal glowed against his chest as his eyes shined a bright purple. He was exhausted. He stared at his headphones in awe, just astounded on how everything turned out. 

He used several enchantments and was very happy with how it came out. However, the main three enchantments were the ones that took forever to do. He put his unbreakable enchantment on that took a while to do right. He also enchanted it to NEVER get lost. If it ever got left somewhere or anything, it would immediately show up somewhere on the owner's personality. And finally, the last big one took Virgil the most time to do. He put a blessing on it. One he never thought he'd have to do, or even knew he could. He blessed it with blessed hearing. I don't think I really need to explain that one... do I?

Virgil pulled out his draw and just laughed as he pulled out his paints. Specifically his white, red, and gold. Needless to say, he spent the rest of the night repainting those dark headphones till they were as light as the very prince he was going to give them to.
