Just when everything were on it's right place at the right time, that's when you started to say the wrong words.
We were having your favorite cup of coffee on my rooftop. It was espresso, the coffee that I don't really like but, just for the sake of this night I choose to drink it.
Then there we have my favorite piece of cake. Chocolate flavor with a strawberry on top. You told me your hate chocolates but, just for the of this night you choose to eat it.
"Dane, let's break up. " you said in the middle of the night when the moon and the sun were about to met.
I chose and prepared for this night because I wanted to tell you that I already made up my mind. I was about to tell you that I'm ready to be your wife and I'm just waiting for the sun and moon to meet so, they will be the one who will witness how our love was about to collide.
But, you said something painful, and instead of smiling, hugging and kissing— instead of celebrating because we're soon to be as one, just like how the sun and moon we're about to be one, we ended up with tears streaming down to our cheeks.
You keep on saying sorry. Telling me all those bullshit excuses. Telling me that you realized...
that you realized that you're a gay.
I look at the darkness of the sky and let my eyes witness how beautiful the solar eclipse was. I smile in the middle of crying and cursing myself inside my head.
This was supposed to be a euphoric night. This was supposed to be the most beautiful night that we should treasure... but, you said the wrong words in the middle of the right time.
